That WoT's have not taken the route of WoW's and started selling tier 9 premiums?

For all the games inherent faults and it has many, I think this is a good thing

The FL T9 reward is a start. You can expect them soon enough, especially if the T9's sell well in WOW's. They probably introduced them there first as a test to see how it goes.

Reward Vehicle = / = Premium Vehicle

Except that with WoWS, the tier 9s can also be gotten through other means available to F2P players.

Tier 9 premiums should be a thing already.

Tier 8 is just pure frustration.

According to the current prem vehicle scheme, t9 prems would be better than t10 regular tanks.......and they cant meet t11s.

This is true also in WoW's you have camo's and flags to help with Captain skills, and fxp,in her you have nada, zilch, sweet FA.

That way it helped me get the tier 7 HMS Nelson, big slow and cumbersome, just like me, but here the grind is way to too much, so much so you give up in the end. Thing is are these reward tanks any good?

A few things to consider. They had tier 9 tech tree premiums long before that. That you could only get via free XP. The free XP tech tree prems are on rotation tho, so they come and go. Then they added tier 9 premiums for coal and metal. As in the resource you get via XP crates or CW. One that they later sold. But there again, their tier 9 premiums have premium income and not just 1.5x crew XP that makes them appealing for sale. Our current only tier 9 don't. Nor do I suspect the FL tier 9 one will.

Not the first tier 9 "premium" given out either as a reward. But like the tier X "premiums" in this game. It's marked as a special vehicle more so then a premium. As they can train crews, but that's about it. And they are not protected like premiums, so they can be nerfed if needed too. And I'm willing to bet the tier 9 FL falls under the same banner as the T-55A and the tier X prems.

Do I think they will sell it later in the store? Tbh no. But the bound store when that appears, that's a different matter. And I highly suspect it will appear there along with a few other oddities.

Yes. I'm also glad that they didn't start to charge 100€ every moth to play the game. Or that every new player who buys one day of premtime gets a free tX tank. Or that they didn't add nuclear shell artillery yet.
Sooo... yes. We should be very glad that we only got those few minor issues we have right now. Those few tiny nuisances. It could be way (WAY!) worse.
We could have rockets shooting out of random house's windows! Or mechs with railguns! Or dinosaurs with lasereyes. Or... ok. Wait. Dinosaurs with lasereyes would be cool and perfectly fit into the game. And they could have rockets, too. But no railguns, that would be unrealistic.

Tier 9 premiums wouldn't be so bad in my opinion.

Reasons not to have them are primarily to prevent tier rushing and to not break the game economy and keep lower tiers occupied.

With premium time, x5 boosters and various events rushing to tier 10 already possible anyway.

The only aspect which I would like to see is that tier 9 premiums have a low credit income.
