Just a suggestion about crew skills,
I think it would be better if you could use your crew across all the vehicles that they've actually trained in without penalty.

We spend a lot of time training up crew from vehicle to vehicle. What I found very frustrating is to grind all the way up to a tiered 10 German tank for example. The frustrating thing is that the crew you've trained on say a tear eight vehicle you really enjoy have fun no logical reason have totally forgotten how to use the vehicle that they trained in after they've trained in the tear nine then tear 10.

A good and logical suggestion, I wouldnt expect it to be implemented though, given WG makes a possible profit from crew retraining with gold.

You can use one crew/nation but it will cost you a lot of gold.

Considering that crew training for Gold is one of the main ways I now spend my money as I redeploy good crews from abandoned lines- and it's one of the very best ways to spend gold- I guess that it is not going to happen.

Anyway. As one vehicle is in north America and another in eastern Europe, how to you expect to transfer them all the time? Maybe we should be penalised for having free crew transfer by waiting days between battles.

One of the ways WG makes profit from WoT is people paying gold to retrain their crews as they unlock tanks.  You're another player who doesn't understand why WoT exists.

A great idea. I'm sure it's just an oversight, but you forgot to tell us how all those players who've spent years creating multiple crews are to be compensated for what would then become worthless crews? I look forward to your response.

It would be nice if they could remember their training but the credits penalty is rather minor (and sometimes even non-existent), so I just switch and put a booster on. Back to full in no time. :great:

The idea is a sound one, however, WG makes a profit from players using gold to retrain tanks. Given this fact, I doubt that it will be implemented.

You can actually do this by paying gold every time you move them around. You can easily play all your tanks  with the same crews for only 50€ per day!

Yeah it would make sense that a crew could run all the tanks until that tier, so if you want to play Comet you don't have to train a new crew after reaching CentAX. But if that was the case, WG would start losing a lot of money from people who would pay to boost their crews a few skills.

Actually, yea, it would be nice to

allow your crew to be trained for multiple tanks,

it's somewhat ridiculous, that the crew gets trained for the T20

and suddenly they forgot how to drive the Easy8.

It would make more sense to be able to drive multiple tanks,

and would be beneficial for anyone who wants to keep a tank after grinding it,

without the need to retrain a whole new crew from scratch for it.

Your poem doesn't rhyme.

When they re-do the crew skills I'm sure WG will offer crew class packs in the shop.

Whilst I agree that crews should remember previous vehicles they've driven, I can see why some would need retraining...

I used to be a graphic designer, but now work in management. Can I currently remember how to use meshes in Photoshop? Well, maybe I could if someone gave me 200 pieces of gold. :p

I'm sure that the actual crew members see very little of that 200 gold.  1st WG removes their 50% handling fee, 25% for continued barracks rental and another 24.9% for uniform maintainance, food and other day to day costs.

The actual crew member is lucky if he gets to see 1 gold.

It's why so many of the better tank crews now work for other games and only use WG as a starting point.

Rumor has it that Commander Shepherd got his start in an M4.

I love the OPs idea though and agree if they've reached 100% in a tank they should be able to switch in and out of it, like with premiuns.

I have to thank you UserZer00; that response made me laugh to the extent that Lucozade shot from my nose!

I usually charge a premium for nostril washing services, but since you purchased the Lucozade and performed the clean up on your own (at least I hope you did) I'll waive my fee this time.

And to stay on topic....hmmmm.....

To avoid impacting the WG budget too much maybe they could restrict it to the last 2 or three tanks the crew was trained for and not the whole line.

I can see one huge problem with the idea.

The crew might remember their past tanks but I won't be able to.

I never put crew back into a previous vehicle it is just too expensive. Way too expensive.

Well, it seems to me that such a solution would help to keep alive the low and mid tier matchmaking. And THIS should for sure be in WG's best interest.

A win/win maybe?

Can't see them doing it, you would only ever need one crew per line, no need for additional bunk spaces or crew retraining so no gold being spent.
