One thing I've noticed in FL during both episodes is that the HD "Slippery Soap" Rocks are not present in Frontline.

I believe WoT 1.0 came after Frontline which means Epic Normandy had to be remade to comply with the HD standard (but do correct me if I am mistaken).

During that conversion, apparently WG "forgot" to add a layer of oil grease to the rocks and the map does not have it. I assume climbs are a much lesser issue in FL than they are portrayed in Randoms...

Although I initially thought this had been changed in FL ep. 2, after testing a bit more, I concluded there was no such thing and the rocks are not slippery, as they should never be.

So it begs the question: why is this annoying "feature" still present in Randoms? Climbs have been fixed for the most part. There simply stands no reason for this to continue patch over patch.

Because WG decided we needed a lobster.

I dare you take a stroll at the lakeshore on D and see if you still got the same opinion.

I suggest you take the north side first, it is a... very interesting route.

I've tested this in C (hill overlooking the cap cirlce) and the mound on D (where it's possible to jump heading forward and backwards either side).

Nevertheless it's worth checking this. WG might have touched some areas but not others.

Except that frontline came after 1.0.

You are referring to the Tier VIII Frontline.

The first one was available for Tier X Vehicles, if memory serves.

Yes, the month long test last year was tier 8, but the very first test (in sandbox ?) was tier 10

Yes, the sandbox one was from 2017, but who's counting that?
