it was never op, it was perfectly balance, but noob players complain abotu every new tank that it's op cause they don't know where to shoot it, an the fact that they are 2 tiers lower and shooting them with stock guns and standard ammo and they complain they can't pen it frontally!
and since WG "listens" to the community and there are far more noobs(and kids included) than good players, they will try to make the noobs happy and ruin the game because of them!

personally i got both defenders, but that is beacuse i am collecting and not stat padding. so if you cap your rides in the defenter to one in 50- would that be ok?

I have it but I don't like it. I still prefer meds, I'm enjoying Lansen C (with viking skin!) much more for example. 252U's gun is very good when it hits, but accuracy and reload time somewhat ruins it. Armour can be good if you can hide the lower plate. At the moment this is the best tier 8 soviet prem heavy (with IS-3A). It laughs along with IS-3A on KV-5s and IS-6s.

Cupolas? I have three marked the tank and have got rekt by t6 swarm, it's all about not facing it frontally and if you do, aim for cupolas.
