Is there a mod that gives more information on the shots that didn't damage?

I am using Aslain's XVM-based mod pack. But somehow in the huge list of options in the installer I can't find the option I am looking for: I would like to have information not only about my shots that did damage, but also about my shots that didn't do damage. Did I just miss? Did I shoot a 250 mm piece of armor with a 150 mm penetration gun? Did the shot bounce?

Is there a mod that gives that sort of information?

If you find one please let us know as I would love to know the difference between a shot that does no damage and a "critical hit".......that does no damage.

I'm confused.. you already see that in game. Ricochet, non penetrating shots are shown and when you don't do damage and you don't bounce its obvious you missed.

Same. I need more info about hits, not just about these. Especially for HE shells and other more complicated shell types/cases.

How much pen was I short? What was the angle of impact? How was the HE damage reduced? Could it find an opening in their tank? Why only track damage? Etc.

Doesn't mean you missed. Some module might have absorbed the damage, they may have had a spallliner and your HE shell hit a bad angle, and there are void spots: https://tanks.gg/tan...e-4-heavy/model

Look at the drivers viewport for the Type4. If you hit him there you do 0 damage even if you had 2147483647pen. And if you hit tanks in the center of their gunmantlet you also do 0 damage regardless of pen and shell type and etc. There are still some really iffy cases.

Even the ELC Even can in theory (albeit super super rare) fully absorb a deathstar shell and bounce (not so rare) a 400+pen HEAT shell.

Battle hits mod by tornado. You can easily install it and see all the shots you landed and all the shots that landed on you.

After you install it (Copy all the contents to the mod/1.4.1.1 path and notice I said mod folder not res_mod) there will be a button added to the bottom right corner of the screen next to the Notification Center where you can see all the shots taken and landed for all your battles of that session.

and http://www.pkmods.com/battle-hits-by-tornado/ is the link. Enjoy!

Well you could enable the battle hits mod thats in Aslains and several other mods.

Then you can go through every shot you fired and where it hit the enemy tank as well as all the shells that hit your tank.

May not be exactly what you want but its very informative.

There was a mod that said enemy hit when you didnt hit the ground, but im pretty sure it is illegal. You could tell 100% that your shot hit if you fired it blind. You can try browsing some of the mod sites, russian ones specifically, and there is a site hosting mods banned by WG, not that i would use them, i dont blind fire the same position twice anyways.

The server does not give the details on hits, therefore it isn't something that mods could report in more detail. What you see today is what you can get, anything else would be guesswork (like the above mentioned illegal mod assuming that shot that vanishes hit a player).

The crirical hit does module damage. But not enough to destroy it.

All modules have hitpoints and all guns have a (secret) modular damage.

Panther II for example has 240 alpha, but 119 damage vs modules. Tiger II's tracks have 240 health so hitting them with Panther II can cause a critical hit without actually tracking the tank.

As others have said, Battle Hits is the mod that gives you info on all shots that intersect a tanks hitbox. Split screen Tanks GG and you can get all the info you want on the % of the shot that you fired or hit you. Dont forget to consider pen dropoff though and ammo type.
