Just play better. Dont expect the team to win the games for you, win them yourself.

If you’re at 47% after 5 years and 32705 battles, the problem may be you, not the team?

You lost 11 games. The only thing those 11 games had in common was you...

They won 11 games. But you see it as “the other team”. You need to realise these are 11 different groups of players. The only constant in those 11 games was you.

From your noobmeter statistics, I see your damage is low, your WN8 is low, your survival rate is low.

Your base cap points are high, maybe you are too passive and just sit in the cap waiting for the rest of the team to deal with enemies?

not sure how to interpret this, maybe someone else can explain.

Now I’m not a good player myself. But at least I’m aware of it and understand my stats are mostly my own doing. And if I want to improve them, I have to do more damage, raise my WN8, stay alive longer, kill more than being killed.

Unless you’re willing to accept that you may be the cause of your losses, there isn’t much chance of improving...

Well, let's look at this mathematically and honestly.

You already admit that you are not a very good player, so you can expect to lose a bit more on average than you win.

The average winrate, accounting for draws, is about 48%. You are at 47%. You are thus losing a bit more than you can expect to win if you were average. The overall picture makes sense.

Yeah, it sucks to lose 11 games in a row. It's a random streak, it can happen. Even at a perfectly equal chance of winning (and ignoring draws) the chance of losing 11 games in a row is 0.5^11=0.00049 so 0.049% which means you can expect this to happen roughly every 2000 games. You've played over 32k so it is very likely that this has occured to you about 16 times.

It's mathematically improbable, but not THAT improbable that we can't expect it to occur. The problem is that we notice loss streaks more than times when we win enough to compensate for those streaks and reach our final winrate, but the winrate we have shows that those wins do occur. It just feels worse, because we get annoyed with losses more than we are pleased by wins, both because we psychologically count loss as about twice as impactful as winning and because when we win we frequently attribute it to our own skill and choices so it's merely "working as intended".

Simple: if you're playing anything Tier VII and up the team you're on effectively plays with 14 players only. Or in other words: every team you join has a reduced chance of winning.

Back in the day, I had a 20-loss streak...

11 games? If that's the worst streak you had in 32K games? Most here would be jealous. But then again if those 11 were all on the same tank, tier or class. Then those are not working for you that day. Play the tanks you can make an impact in instead then. As the common factor in those 11 games are still you. And if you play tanks you can't do well in for whatever reason. You contribute less too. And when you have a bad team on top of it. It def won't work. Thus you fall back to your "safe tanks" and ride the storm with those instead.

As a 47% player you already lose more games than you win on a good day. Today you just happened to have a terrible day.

Tomorrow you might well have an amazing day and win everything. It all balances out over time.

After 3 games you should know if you are in a F zone. Just logoff and play an other game. Its the way the gamemechanisme of WOT works.

My record loss streak is 14. I played seven games each in two artillery and lost every one. SPGs are very team-dependent, so my chances to make a difference is reduced, but the enemy has SPGs as well, and not two more HTs or MTs etc. Before that it was 13 battles in a variety of tanks, and that sucks.

You aren't a great player, OP. This means that every single team you are in will have at least one "below average" player- which seems to be the band you are in. EVERY battle you are in has one below average player- YOU!

There are times when you can go AFK and your team will win 15>0. And there are times when your team will fight their hearts out and two idiots who've done nothing else all battle will roll into your cap circle and win the battle. If nothing else, it proves that every player can make a difference and if YOU can be that ONE player in the battle that pulls off the save, then you will win more often than you do.

The other day I was in a stock tier VII facing a Super Pershing. If I had ONE round of APCR left, maybe I'd have killed it and won an epic battle with seven kills. My AP (not surprisingly) bounced and I was killed in turn. Think of every time you might have made a difference if you hadn't died, if you hadn't camped, if you'd penned instead of bounced. Think about every time you thought *#%&*# and then ask yourself what you should have done differently.

For a start, deal more damage. You have one tier X tank, but of all your tanks, only ONE has over 1,000 damage per battle- a tier IX Heavy: the M103. I am not a good HT player and as a rule, my skill seems to run out at tier VIII, but I have 300 more HP/battle than you and this seems to be enough to help tip my win rate to a positive (admittedly with lower battle count) but of my 70 battles, I have played a lot of them without upgrades. Only now (with some Free XP) is the vehicle fully upgraded. You have 449 battles. What is your excuse? I've Aced mine as well.

How about that Hellcat? 2107 battles and average 490 damage! My Hellcat has 764 HP average- and a 56% win rate. My Alecto (tier IV) has 498 HP average damage and my Marder 38T has 573 HP damage. You simply do not do enough to win more consistently.

Your survival is better than mine, but somewhere along the line you probably survive more winning games than I do because your team carried you and you didn't fight. I die in lots of wins! So despite your greater number of losses, you do survive more battles- and yet you achieve less! Think on that.

Swings and roundabouts, 2 weeks ago I dropped from 49.05% WR to 48.95% WR. That is an overall loss of 45 battles. Now I am back up to 49.02%. There is no explanation for it. Coming on here to look for an answer will mostly get you flamed, Just accept it as it is, try not to let it wind you up, walk away play some thing else. Apart from very good players, it is hard to carry 14 other players, unless the RNGods, MM and everything falls perfectly into place.

World of Tanks, Welcome to the suck.

It's just 11 matches. Happens.
Imagine you were a better player, it maybe would have been 2-3 lost matches less.

Sucky sucky 5 dolla, that's how I call such streaks.

In general, they happen to everyone, OP. Even the best players get them ocassionally, but since they contribute to their team more than average or bad players, they end up winning more.

Simple as that. If you are in a bad streak, just logoff and play something else, like someone before told you. Helps every single time ;)

Thats not entirely true dude, the true line is ME and my team lost all those games.

But dont worry too much, it is too small a sample and those streaks happen to everyone.

I mean if you are on a 11 game winning streak, will you start a thread in the forum to complain?

Fun facts:

-You are the only constant in your teams.

-If you play at a below average level, your teams will win less than the enemy teams do.

-Allied players are green. Enemies are red. :hiding:
