Hey guys,

there is going to be another marathon. Are you going to participate?

I'll skip this TD...

Why does it have to be during Frontline? Why not after the third episode has ended?!

I'll have to, I've sat out several but this is US, and a TD, which means I kinda have to.

But it seems that the missions are as hard as for the EBR 75. And another hulldown super armored TD camping in the bushes and waiting for you with 3k base dpm...

Erm, FL actually starts as soon as this marathon ends.

WG sure as heck wants to keep people active. So be it, though it hurts clan-related activities a fair bit when there are time-intensive grinds going on.

Not that WG really cares much about the organized part of WoT, but y'know. At least seems like a fairly idiot-proof strong tank. Too bad it's a TD, which means what you think, but at least the gun's only 0.42 accuracy. That helps.

Do we know for sure that starts on the 8th at all yet? I've not seen any FL dates this month, not even on the monthly rundown.

Depends. Since tier 9 counted that time on mastery vs just tier X. It was easier to get some of those done faster on the EBR. Vs getting top XP etc in a pure tier X game 90 times. And I got the EBR with time to spare doing mastery on 7 of the 10 missions vs past events.  And there are no 80 and 90 battle missions this time around. Tho instead they have a few 20 and 40 battles with 500 damage. And 50 with top 10 damage. Tho I suspect most can pull off mastery on stage 10 on a tier 9 clip med like the Standard B vs doing 50 games. Vs past events trying to get 12 top 1 spots in pure tier X games only.

As for the reward? Not sure what to make of it. As lower plate is massive. But depending on impact angle and gun height, most can still deal with it. And the cupola is not small, but still 170 to 190 effective on the center line. That's enough to even bounce lower tier guns when top tier. But vs tier X guns, this won't love long I suspect. As it's 250mm effective on each side of the mantle. And HEAT will definitely eat past that. And sure it has 250 more DPM than the T28 with the same pen and alpha, and less aim time. But that dispersion is worse off tho. Not sure how that will affect it.

Seems like the overall grind is probably some 45-50% less than EBR, is is the same number of days, or fewer? Either way, i dont care about murrican OP retardproof TDs, so no touching the game for me because of this.

What a weird tank, joint 2nd highest DPM of any tier 8, awful accuracy, faster than a T28 but more sluggish, and insane armour for a tier 8 although it has weakspots, although not really for lower tiers and the lower plate looks troll as if you hit too low its autobounce.

if it starts on the 8th, it's nice timing for me.   Not that I'll get though all the stages, but should manage a decent discount.

Oh boy, we had a week without a marathon, clanwar, frontline or special. Lets just do another one...

Will skip this one just as much as the EBR and will certainly not buy it.

Something tells me WG figured out they made more selling new tanks at 50% off via an event discount, then just selling it in a bundle outside an event. Thus all the marathons the past year vs the 5 years. As a majority of those have been on old tanks vs a newly released one, or not sold for a bit like the T-44-100 and WZ-111.

It's a win-win. They sell full price bundles to those that can't keep their credit card in their wallet, discounted bundles to everyone else willing to put some time in that wouldn't pay the full price anyway and they get a load of people to commit to playing on the server to keep the population healthy.

Nah. If one has a life, these grinds are essentially 10-30% discount on a premium, and this one isn't interesting enough to buy, even for 30% off...
