Simple question: Do I deserve a tinfoil hat or am I actually right in thinking the credit income per battle has been reduced recently?

Yes, you deserve a tinfoil hat. At least my incomes seem to be unaffected.

Did your premium time run out?

Keep in mind not all tanks are equally expensive to repair and repurchase shells for, so it might be simply a case of your costs rising. This is true also within tiers, not just between tiers.

An alternative explanation for costs rising is your stock of consumables running out and being replenished automatically at full price.

If you're talking about base income rather than profit, I have not noticed such a thing.

I know how OP feels, my credit seems to sitting still these days. Could be because I play less though.

I can send you one of my tinfoil hats.  I use them up rather quickly, so I got them on a bulk discount.  :deer:

The more I damage my bumbling team mates, the less credits I earn and I do not think that is fair. Why should I suffer financially for other people's clumsiness?

Depends. As for all we know, your play style has changed. We get these topics often. And the poof is usually that they got less for 3K damage vs 4 weeks ago. And considering all the factors that decide your income per game. Who knows, you might play the damage on others assist card more.

Armour values goes up. Tapping the 2 key becomes a more frequent activity. Credits income goes down.

It hasn't reduced itself. You just need to spam *WAY* more premium ammo nowadays to be competitive which artificially reduces your effective income.

Edit: Damn, beaten to it by 8126Jakobsson :D

All I can say is I spent the five million yesterday, just to get the 7 days of premium, and I still have nearly seven million in the bank.

I have not had to clear out my depot in a long time, probably got a few millions worth of stuff in there too.

Maybe they need to reduce credit earning.

Then again, these days missions and merit boxes give insane amounts of premium consumables and equipment pieces that sell for tons each, or save money on the purchase of them. And then there's credit reserves and stronghold boosters on top of that.

Yes, I'm experiencing the same.

Not only its harder to make credits, but you loose a lot off money in tier 9 and tier 8 when you shoot gold (which you have to do or you will do no damage).

This game is taking a clear bias towards good players, where they get all the rewards, average players are having a bad time.

Don't think premium time is worth it like this, better spend the money in Netflix

As a recently returned player, I suspected this might be the case - but then I checked "The KV-2 Owner's Handbook" (pinned in the Soivet Heavy tanks section) where I documented the credit economies of running a KV-2 at the time I wrote that post many years ago.  I compared it to my credit incomes on the KV-2 now and it's at least the same now, maybe even a tiny little bit better.  Definitely not worse though.  Obviously, that only applies to the KV-2.  Other tanks or tiers might have changed I guess.

Increased armor in tier 8, 9 and 10 implies you need to shoot gold, most of the times 4.500 credits a pop...

It also means that you get punished by each mistake, so repair costs go up.

I'm getting fed up to have to grind tanks and grind credits, even with premium time and premium tanks its getting to be a really pain to grind and buy tanks

Most players are not in a clan actually and of those who are there is a good chance the clan won't run boosters.

You indeed have personal reserves and extra bonuses to offset the cost of premium spam but that does not negate the fact that *income* on (premium) tanks is lower due to the ammo-bill being much higher. Unless of course you want to lose more matches then feel free to play with standard ammo only.

I found that the best way to grind stock tier 8 and 9 tanks is just YOLO suicide.. just don't shoot and die, saves you 40K a game and the XP difference is low.

Its also good for your mental health, considering the level of team play in the game right now.

One of this days I'm going to start doing it.

I'd give you a tin foil hat but I find myself suddenly unable to afford one.
