So true: not only you should NOT buy this tank but you should sell/  trade it after the arrival of the wheeled vehicles.

Time will show the intoduction of cars in the game killed it even more.

Since this tank lost almost all of it's value, I expect it to reappear in the shop as often as the Type 64.

 

Anyway, the game is dying: I understood ten of thousands of russians are preparing a (search on google) " russian rage quit" which translate into getting back from Paypal all the money they paid to WG, during the last 540 days.

So we can expect to see very soon a financial blow for WG.

You finally do something that the players have been asking for, and has been promised for almost a year with the MM, and then keep on dong this. Just one step forward, one step back.  Rather than selling tanks like these that make the general gameplay experience worse, how about instead, you continue making the play experience more enjoyable for all, and get more people willing to pay for a Premium account instead? You know, long term stable growth, rather than short term greed?  I recently bought the Lansen and a month's Premium with the introduction of the new MM, hoping things might be changing. This is not evidence that supports my hope.

This French AMX LT is freaking awesome to play ~ it copes well with Tiers 8 but ~ struggles badly against the WG Dev's wet dream OP Heavily armoured Russian Tanks )) who knew!

this where 57mm is simply a joke at this level

not a lot of ammo carried (why WG?

 

 4 skills crew helps a lot, the Commander needs 5 skills eventually,

Vents, GLD, V Stabs and Premium Food ….. most Unicums players etc, go full Gold ammo layout I go 50/ 50 AP & Gold

its a expensive Vehicle to run

 

When WG nerfs the 'Gold or Special' ammo later this year ~ the AMX 13-75 will instantly become worthless   its Gold ammo is vital at T9

Pros:

 

• 8 round drum fires 720hp of damage in roughly 8 seconds.
• Rather short full reload of 16 seconds (base).
• Good accuracy at any range.
• "Fast" top speed (when compared to other tracked LTs - WVs are of course faster).
• Low profile makes this tank hard to spot.

 

Cons:

 

• Fires faster than it can aim.
• Low penetration for its tier, but still passable.
• Barely any depression, not much better for the elevation.
• Prone to taking multiple component/crew damage from single shots.
• Limited damage capacity due to low alpha damage and small ammunition store (56 shells).

If you are a decent light player, this is the tank for you. It absolutely wrecks every equal tier and lower tier tanks. I play it with only 2 clips apcr, no food and get a WN8 of 2471 and a winrate of 59% after 334 matches, which is much higher then my regular stats.

Great little light tank. My only tip is to carry a fire extinguisher (automatic) since your fuel tank is huge and is in the back. It also has low health so pretty much any shot that hits from the back will set you on fire.

This tank is OP plain and simple.  That alone makes it great fun to play (assuming you're not completely clueless in light tanks).

 

One thing that is often forgotten is that this tank was balanced and first released back in the day of "Scout Match Making".  In those days it saw tier 10.

 

When they brought in Tier 9 and 10 light tanks most lights at tier 7/8 went up a tier.  This one didn't and it didn't get nerfed.  But it doesn't see tier 10 any more.

 

With high speed, good accuracy, a huge clip and a ridiculously fast reload (both whole clip and each round) it is great to play and terrible to play against.

 

Cons:

It's a premium so as with all premiums it's ridiculously over priced.

It OP as hell and so could get nerfed at some point (they would probably reduce the number of shells and increase the reload times).

 

If WG imposed a 10 premium tank limit and forced me to sell all the others, this would probably be one of my keepers.
