Kids Now Have their Own Models Thanks to Italeri

I definitly like the idea of those, Cheapish ( not looking at shipping ) and easy to plug together. Not a big fan of glueing the models together but I like to paint them.
I do want on another note like to point out that those are 3D models. You could 3D print those models but sadly WG decided to take legal actions against makers of STL datas of Tanks. For your info an STL is the data needed for a 3D printer to print your 3D model. A lot of Tanks where being shared ( for free mind you) on thingyverse and other 3d printer sites. WG took legal actions and copyright claimed all of them. For more info go over here. Its a pitty WG takes such a move rather then promoting things like the making of personal 3D models.
Kind Regards

Well, this certainly puts this action into a different light if it's all true.....
If people take WoT models, edit them and give them away for free, this falls under fair use. Even if the basis was a model of a game, doesn't matter. As soon as it's changed (enough) this stops being relevant.
DMCA'ing these models is therefore invalid and a dubious to boot.

Today there is not enough time to spend many hours glueing together a model. So, these will fit perfectly to add into my *new* model collection

if these are for kids, are those cobi things for the yet unborn?
also, I still prefer the Flames of War models (get the resin ones before they replace all with plastic!
)

My career as modelist was ended when someone sat upon my very first (and only one) model I ever completed (a Lancaster bomber) ...
... I was 11-12 years old, the effort to assemble the model was great (it wasn't for beginners) ... and the frustration even greater.

A good start to model collecting. I do not know about good start to modelling, since that is a very complicated skill. If you want to start modelling, buy a regular model kit, paint, glue, brushes etc.

Cobi kits have massive amount of parts, the more complicated ones have 600 parts and up. Not for little ones.

Glue? I thought you just needed a catwalk and some portfolio pictures... Is the glue for sniffing?
