It is the plural of a computer mouse if they are not the same kind. So you can have a bunch of different computer mouses but you have 10 logitech G502 mice

Better question would be, considering the overall density of the Maus and the ground pressure it exerts, how many can you fit before you rightfully destroy the foundations ?

Nope, it would be Mauses, or possibly just Maus (like sheep - 1 sheep, 2 sheep - 1 Maus, 2 Maus).  And we don't do German in the English subforum.

Let's call them mice and put out the rat poison so the poor friars have a chance.

Also, isn't English at the root a language influenced by german ?

The german plural of Maus is Mäuse. Also I never heard of the word Mise but google tells me its is a french word.

Off topic but yes and no, it's very much a mongrel of a language.

But it certainly would not be Mice because that is the plural of mouse which is a different word to Maus.

Having given it more thought I am leaning toward the plural of Maus being in fact Maus.

Quite irrelevant here.

If you are referring to the map Abbey, then the number would be 30, unless the map Abbey is included in Grand battles - then the number would be 60.

Now, if you are referring to the abbey on the map Abbey, it would be interesting to see how many Mäuse could fit in there. Maybe a new world's record?
