i've met hew players in past 2 weeks who's game keeps crashing. yet, i dont have this problem…

it has to be the in game settings if you ask me. my potato laptop never crashed and so far this one hasn't either.

try to use the ''Recommended'' Graphic settings.

WoT have reworked the sound engine quite a bit recently so my guess would be that you have some quite out of date Realtek drivers installed, or other sound drivers in the same state.

Besides WOT updating. You done anything differently since then? Drivers updated at the same time?

But as per the norm. Try safe mode first. Then check your drivers if they updated automatically around the same time, or if they need one. Sound and GPU. Then if that doesn't work clear the cache. If it still crashes. Try closing down every overlay program. As even Discord and soundcard overlay programs have been known to cause issues before.

Have they?

I don't notice any of the sort in terms of broken mods.

Anyhow, when was the last time OP cleaned his GPU?

Was causing crashes for me a few months back.

Yes and there have been multiple sound related threads regarding it in the Tech Corner and almost all of them so far have been related to out of date sound drivers (Realtek mostly) and/or out of date versions of Nahimic or Sonic Studio.

Not just on sound alone. But the CPU load on them etc too. The sound was the first step on going away from 1 core usage. As that was the first to be sent to other cores. And it got fixed again when the FPS improvments came 2 patches back.

Had a look and there have been 16 new versions of Realtek drivers since January, also we don't know how long "shelf time" the image that got flashed onto your HDD have, it might be older than that, so before you start reinstalling WoT etc check your drivers especially the sound related ones since there have been multiple people suffering from similar issues.

Modless but the game really doesn't like me changing servers or trying to look at camo, I get stuck in a whiring cog of hungness.  No full crashes unless changing servers
