Make arty invisible for a minute after the combat starts

ditto for some tds and hvys

With the introduction of french wheeled tanks its very hard for slow arty like german gwe 100 to move out of spoting range of a ebr 105 just seconds after battle start. WG should mend this with making arty invisble or invounareble the firsat minute of combat.

Don't play arty. 

 

Problem solved.

 

And literally when you spend the whole game in safety with no one able to shoot back at you, whilst you shoot at others without consequence, you want to remove one of the few times arty is actually vulnerable?

 

How about no.

do reduce wheel vehicle topspeed though :)

Play arty and see ppl kill whole teams just to get at arty.

lets make every tank in game invisible for 15 minutes and see how it turns out. ;)

So if your reload is 30 seconds you can't be countered for the next 30 seconds even by enemy arty? Brilliant. Or even when spotted by a med pushing middle on Himmelsdorf he can't damage you when he spots you in the cap across half the map? And then you kill him later because reasons. I can see this working brilliantly.

Lets make the minimap invisible and see if there's any bloody difference....

Why just Arty ?

There are plenty of slow heavy tanks in the game and the speed of wheelies make some maps unbalanced because of this... for example highway, one spawn has access to the city behind a railway embankment, the other spawn has access to the city via a steep open slope
WV's can easily get across to spot slow heavy tanks going up the hill which can then be blasted by Meds and TD's who have moved up around the rail bridge area, but the heavies going along behind the railway embankment are totally safe, even if they are spotted they are behind cover and can't be hit by anyone

I play arty myself regularly and I don't think those wheeled vehicles are a problem. Have been killed at the start of the game only once I think.

Make arty visible for the whole duration of the game.

I think WG should make then invisible for the whole battle, or maybe place them in the sky so only Pz Sfl V could shoot it

You have to kill the whole team to get to arty anyway the majority of the time. 

 

And as I said don't play arty.

heh heh, a cloaking device & shields to go along with the satellite imagery & laser guidance system.  Why not?  In fact why not just let arty deploy off the edge of the map?

The only map where such an early rush-and-kill-arty has any decent chance of being successful is Ensk (and it doesn't always happen to begin with) and hey, we will soon get the possibility to exclude one map. Problem solved.

I think they should add a cloak of invisibility to light tanks to give them an advantage over the wheeled vehicules
