Because we are competitive by nature, and winning gives the feeling of satisfaction that you are one of the master race?

Because of the huge disparity in terms of credits and exp earned that exists between a victory and a loss.

I have other more specific reasons that apply to specific cases, but that's my issues and so irrelevant to this thread.

Because celebrating losing just doesn't cut the mustard.

Not all losses are equal, being steamrolled bugs me a lot more then losing a game that ends on a very close score.

Mostly because world of tanks has become increasingly competitive. More competitive = more frustration on losing.

That's even more true when you don't have full control over your winning chances.

If losing didn't trigger some kind of emotion, games wouldn't be any fun, 'cause you wouldn't be invested in trying to win or barring that at least have a good game. I personally find the games I do poorly in 'cause I do something silly or get steamrolled early way more annoying than the ones in which I did fine, no matter the outcome.

Imagine a game in which you won all the time to compare it to, that'd be boring too... might as well go watch a movie if nothing can go wrong.

because when you lose it's often not as a result of your actions but rather the actions of the top tier morons you were 'randomly' assigned by WG as team mates.

and because of the rigged RNG that says even when you play well and do all the right things, in spite of the top tier wasters, you will still not pen the shots that makes the difference between winning and losing.

Very close game bothers me a lot more. Losing to a close game is just my fault. Getting steamrolled is caused by better enemy team and there isn't anything you can do.

Just play for WN8 and gun marks and frustration goes away. Well, a bit.

It is? I fully expect my teammates to try and lose the battle and RNG nearly always goes into full hate-mode when it counts, so nowadays losses only annoy me when I can point to a specific screw-up of mine and say "that brainfart right there cost me the game".

Just a game... With real people "behind each tank" so to speak...and when those people won't cooperate, how could you be mad at the game?

I've said it many times before - hate the players, not the game.

RNG, however, is a different matter altogether...  :sceptic: an unnecessary skill dampener to make it easier for bots to achieve more. Eugh...
