"to put in your garage for good"

Perfect quote, Wargaming. This tank is so far out of meta that it's the most likely destination indeed: in the garage for good. Most likely under a pile of dust.

Mine is now in garage with 100% victories already after first game, and it may stay their until us tds make it to top of the tree

Cheers

I got it and as I thought its an amazing tank, I really like it. Tho if you get flanked by lights, medium or even some heavies you are dead, but if you manage to keep them at distance you melt everything in your way. I still have to get a M for this.. I got 1500 base xp and that wasn't enough LMAO!

I was actually going to buy back the horrible tech tree version just to remind myself of why I should not buy this, now if you sold a premium T 95, than might be another story:trollface:

preferably with 750 damage at tier 8

Still working towards it but not looking likely, I'm 1/4 of the way through stage 8 the past 7 days have been 48% winrate.  I'm free to play taking advantage of the reward premium days with x3 tier8 heavy, x2 t8 med and 1 t8 scout as my highest tiers.

Some people seem to have breezed through this and say it's a lot easier than previous ones I'm not finding that the case but I guess I'm not as consistently skilled as them, I've made the mistake of playing a variety of classes and 6-8 tiers rather than perhaps a better strategy of using heavy/spg for slower games but more consistant overall results?  Stage 7 500 base xp x25 times has taken the longest.

The game is easier if you just get a premium account you know, i made the mistake of playing without premium account for the first i think 5 or 6 months when i came to WoT in Dec 2017 and as soon as I got premium it just was so much easier, mainly because of credit generation etc. If you unlocked so much of the tank you might as well just buy it. I mean if you get it say 90% off surely that is worth it for all your effort? I don't have it btw but am at 80% like you.

Just about to start the final stage, would say that this mission marathon has been easier than all the others recently, but then none of the others were possible to finish for the vast majority of players within the given time, I had a few days holiday which really helped, if doing this and working all week, doubt I would have gotten this far.

One way to make this a little more interesting maybe would be to keep the basic requirements, but say do one of the DMG in Meds, one in TD's and one in Heavies, would miss the lights and arty, and have 2 as any tank.

For the TD, compared to previous marathons, they have only started popping up on the battlefield in the last 2 days, which indicates very few people are buying them without completing the mission, previously on the first day of the mission, plenty would be on the battlefield.

Would I buy this for real money? probably not I didn't bother with the AX or that wheeled thing, and  I have the M56 which is a prefectly servicable US TD if I need crew training

Bought it at 70% discount.

I was going for 80% but I am starting to burn out a little and simply not having fun.

I played the top of the Tree and Got the Maus then did it all again and Got the 50B.

Doing the TS-5 grind as well got to me

I struggled to get through stage 7 and it wasn't easy it just dragged on.

Faced with a minimum of 40 games to save £5 I caved.

Two extra days on this event would be nice, and I won't have to play non-stop for a day to catch up and risk messing up my sleep. I'm sure many others would appreciate it too. Cheers!

Feed back on TS 5 Marathon

I completed it 5 min ago. Yes it is time consuming but not extraordinary difficult to complete. By the way I did not focus on the Marathon itself but on my campaign objective.

For sure the new MM has helped me a lot cause I fought very few battle as bottom tier. The majority I was in the middle and the rest top tier.

Weird from my point of view the step IX of the Marathon is more difficult then the last one.

In conclusion I wish to thanks WG for this oppportunity that is given to ALL players. I don t know if the tank is good as I honestly don t really find this slow TD appealing, but who knows.

For sure is great to get for free the same content that was sold for 62 Euro (not cheap WG... perhaps you should reconsider your pricing policy).

Good luck all for your Marathon.  :)

The tank is a joke, every player gets cocky cause they got good frontal armor, then you track them and get to their side RIP!
A second fail after the EBR! Terrible premium tanks.

This challange wasn't that hard... Didn't play much or focus on the campaign, try hard, and still got to the last stage. Won't complete it but will buy it for 6 euros, mainly for the crew because tank seems boring. More challanges like these

Not played it yet but having worked my way through the US and British Slow TDs the getting tracked problem is no worse than being tracked in a heavy tank.

Sure you have no turret but if you did it couldn't move fast enough to track the tank circling you even if not tracked you probably couldn't do that.

Attacked by a  light or medium tank unless there is some solid terrain to back up to you will be in trouble,

With the right skills equipment and consumables you can repair your tracks in around 4 seconds

Only 70% and I don't think I'll buy it. Mainly because I already have waayyy too many good tanks that I don't play.

But as a credit maker for frontline it should be good.

Strictly speaking, ALL tanks which are outside the tech trees are Premium Tanks ...

... the premium tanks are just separated in various sub-categories according to various factors.

:)

Not all tanks outside tech tree are premium , many of them specials because don't have the ability to earn credits but only crew xp.

Is TS-5 possible to purchase with discounts after the challenge has ended?
