Hey Everyone!

I made a video on a Wheeled Vehicle line for the USA Which a friend called Stewy proposed.

Video about the line: (would appreciate a comment or like on it)

WHEELED VEHICLE LINE FOR THE USA

Tier 2: M1 Armoured Car

Tier 3: T17 Armoured Car

Tier 4: T21 Armoured Car

Tier 5: M8 Armoured Car

Tier 6: T66 75mm GMC

Tier 7: M38 WolfHound

Tier 8: LAV 150

Tier 9: LAV 300

Tier 10: LAV 600

Additional new gameplay mechanic brought by this line:

Smoke Screen - The tier 9-10 historically can deploy a smoke screen to help allies, this can help with getting out of an area or fleeing. It promotes teamwork and could be an interesting addition. Probably working from Tier 8-10.

The video explains the tech tree better so its worth a watch, however here is an image of the line and how it would fit.

Although a good idea, you'll have the Purist Brigade telling you "No, bcs wg don't go over past the 60s" and "we no need moar modern stuff!11!!".

Nice video although i dislike those wheeled things, i appreciate the effort.

Making a smoke screen to attack a well defended area or to cross an open ground, very interesting!

How can you calculate the XP bonus for such a maneuver?

I'd be happier if the current stunt cars were removed let alone add more. So that's a big fat grumpy old man NO to that proposal. If WG propose a separate death race game mode away from WoT go for it, have fun, I'd probably most likely love a game like that myself but don't mix it with tanks, just doesn't work clearly. "Well that's just your opinion" maybe but they're little more than cheap gimmicky thoughtless yolo spotters that disrupt an already corrupted game on the brink of being insufferable so adding more drag racers is hardly going to improve the situation "imo"

Lots of tanks barely hit 40, how is it OK to have cars with guns that go over 90 kph? They are broken and ruin the game. If you want a game with cars then go play a racing title.

Thank you, i understand that not everyone likes the Wheeled vehicles.

But considering they are a part of the game and wg will probably expand upon it, i thought i'd put forward my friends proposal and make it into a video!

:)

Lav 600 was introduced in 1986. Are you serious? What's next? Bradley? Stryker?

Lots of tanks slap you for 750 HP. How is it OK to have vehicles that shoot under 240HP? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have 250mm+ Armour. How is it OK to have vehicles with under 25mm? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks shoot over cover. How is it OK to have vehicles that don't? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have 3 shell types. How is it OK to have vehicles with 2 or lower? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have ventilation access. How is it OK to have vehicles that don't? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have standard penetration below 300mm. How is it OK to have vehicles that do? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have poor camo. How is it OK for others have it above average? They are broken and ruin the game.

Lots of tanks have low HP. How is it OK for others have twice of theirs? They are broken and ruin the game.

You see where this is going?

And WZ-132-1 takes aspects from a 2000s era tank while being at minimum from the early 1980s :bajan:

Nice, though it would be more interesting to have wheeled vehicles which aren't actually light tanks, but mediums!

With the US tree...there's definitely lots of material.

Because they are freaking annoying to counter and reward wreckless yolo-behaviour. I don't give a crap about the tier 6 one, but the mobility of the tier 9 and 10 ones is just crazy and makes no sense.

You just described aggressive gameplay, something I'm quite partial to.

There is a difference between agressive gameplay and the ret4rded play style these (high tier) wheeled vehicles promote.

For example this: https://youtu.be/HmuiSm1I2YU?t=301 This guy just kept driving circles and zigzagging in enemy territory, solely relying on the fact that the vehicle is so incredibly hard to hit. Ofcourse this replay is cherrypicked, it actually got sent to me by a friend, but it shows how stupid the gameplay is. Just like SPGs being capable of hitting for 2k+ damage in the past, or the Bobject when it got introduced. It is not player skill ('agressive gameplay' ) that determines the outcome.
