Your worst enemies in World of Tanks have always been your team mates, but recently it has gotten ridiculous. I've had several cases now where some other player in my team wasn't happy that I had been faster taking position of some corner or some bush that he wanted, and decided to kill me. One TD simply shot me in the back and used my wreck for cover. One heavy deliberately pushed me forward into the enemy line of fire, not just a bump or so, but pushing against me trying to move backwards for 20 seconds until I got killed by the other side.

Have you had instances of "This is my corner!" teammates getting overly aggressive of you having taken their spot?

I have noticed my team-mates being monumentally stupid more often on EU1

What tank you were playing on what map and in what square you were killed at what time? Or shorter: replay.

No but I have had instances of ppl trying to move me out of my spot. Funny thing then ensues, I leave it to them, relocate somewhere else where I can keep shooting and actively participating, then that same teammate sees my new position works even better, so it happens again. This back and forth dance can go on. I have also had people following me around like little chicken (not trolling me or getting in a way, just abandoning their positions and following me around).

People in this game lack any initiative whatsoever, except for either hugging that cover they found, or yoloing right into death. There seems to be no inbetween. Like, 'Oh this doesn't work, fall back and analyze what would work, how can I approach this situation?'

I don't engage in turf wars. You have to realize that it is unsustainable, you're fighting enemy in front of you, and your teammate at the same time, this cannot end well. If they are so keen on being right there, just leave. Seriously. There is no point in arguing, explaining, pushing, whatever... I also laugh when ppl bring completely inappropriate tank for certain position and want to take over my spot, I'm like 'sure mate, let me just pack my crap' and as I leave see them being obliterated, like 'what did you expect, genius?'. But the sad thing is that they don't really know how is it that I was able to sit there with impunity and they got rekt there, nor do I believe they particularly care about that.

Not often, it coincidentally happened to me recently. I was in my VK1001P next to an IS7 and the IS7 was taking up a fair bit of space sidescraping, my tank wasn't too small.. an Emil II wanted to be there too so he decided to try to push in between and sit behind, naturally me being in a VK I pushed him backwards without a care in the world. So he shot me in the back.

I complimented him on his excellend decision-making and told him that there was no room for him there, and he went away.

It seems that people vent their daily frustration in WoT fairly often, I got pushed to enemy line of fire, off of a cliff, etc. Last time it was an IS trying to push my IS-3 out of sidescraping, because "You bumped into me, now you die". *shrug*

I was grinding through the Swedish Lago the other day and was TK'd by an Alecto after I accidentally bumped into him while driving past his bush. To put some context into it, it was about 8 minutes into a game on Steppes and I was a 1 shot at the time. I finished top of the team for damage and kills, the Alecto finished with 144 damage... we lost! So well done Alecto, you TK'd the most effective tank on your team due to an accidental bump...

Please report this kind of behaviour to our customer service with a replay and don't forget to mention the time when this behaviour happens in that replay so they can deal with the guy! ;)

Where are people getting the idea that OP is referring to situations where he's in a heavy, or for that matter that this is only about bushes?

My response to this sort of behaviour is ... "If you want this space so badly, get a faster tank than mine".

Seriously though - it does annoy me when 'unsuitable' tanks take up valuable positions.  As a regular TD player, nothing is more frustrating than having some wannabe sniper in a Chafee hogging the TD spots.  Especially when you know you have better VR and a better gun - but hey ho, what ya gonna do eh?  Relocate and hope they learn to play properly in future.  Shooting them in the back or shoving them into the line of fire won't teach them anything.

I usually give rights way if, I'm in a lower tier tank, or I'm with the wrong class tank. Don't think being the fastest grants you anything, except in lights.

I've had some cases of annoying tomatoes wanting my spot, i usually don't even bother and just relocate.

Taking that now we are seeing increasing farming behavior by green players, heavies flanking, lights sniping, etc I do not know what to think honestly.
