If i get a crew injured, and i have a small first aid kit, the first aid menu automatically opens.

This gets me killed quite often, because if i lose my tracks at the same time as the crew member is injured (which happens all the time from HE shells) i cannot easily repair my tracks.

I have to dismiss the first aid popup first before I can fix my tracks, and by the time I get to it, I am dead.

How can i disable this nonsense that gets me killed and ruins my game?

Have you tried to uninstall mods?

Small first aid kit doesn't "pop up" when your crew member gets injured. You have to manually click it to open up the menu and then choose which member you are going to revive.

In 7 years I've never had that happen automatically. So I'm guessing it's a mod that's messing up your game

It's got to be a mod.  In which case you need to configure the mod so repair kit takes priority.

Though it does sound like boderline cheating.

I have no experience on this matter, so all that follows are just my personal thoughts.

Illegal mods:

"Software that enables the automatic use of non-Premium consumables"

He is using a similar mod which is designed to instantly activate premium kits whenever a crew member gets injured or a module gets damaged. OP is too cheap to use premium kits so the mod just activates the small first aid once and leaves the pop-up window open.

That mods works fine on manual FE as the mod has to "press" one button.

Sounds logical.

Stop using illegal mods...

But OP will probably never return to this thread when he reads back how he got caught using illegal mods or maybe just to erase his initial post, so just quoted OP for future reference.

Nice cheat you got there, it would be a shame if someone would find out about that.

Oh snap...

After nearly 30k battles you should really be aware which mods are legal to use and which ones aren't.

Another person who doesn't know how basic game mechanics work but can install a legion of mods, some of which like this one, give an unfair advantage.

Cobra 6

I don't know what's funnier, people in this thread who think that this gives some unfair advantage (where it is just a shortcut for the lazy, noticing that your crewmember is dead is a major skill I suppose), or the author of the thread who seems to be the typical WoT guy who immediately proceeded to install every mod under the sun, to the point that he doesn't even know how the vanilla game behaves.

Cobra 6

CAN give an unfair advantage if programmed/used properly, otherwise it will be more like counterproductive.

But yes, it's fascinating how people download all kinds of crap without knowing what exactly it is or does...

If this mod was used with a large medkit then it would create an automatic medkit which is a pretty big advantage in my book.

Illegal mods:

"Software that enables the automatic use of non-Premium consumables"

So your shortcut for lazy players is still against the rules.

If I've understood correctly the OP is complaining that it doesn't do this - it just creates a pop up and doesn't automate.  ASFAIK the rule quoted was aimed at preventing automation of manual fire extinguishers - for cheapskates.

So it automates the first keypress but not the second.

And I'm sure it was aimed at automation of medkits and repair kits as well.

Yes, that "rule" is against the automated manual fire extinguisher. It doesn't say anything about automated large kits, but I would assume it falls in the same category.

And how do we know that this mod doesn't do that as well?
