Also teach people NOT to go for the win, ie destroying all the objectives if your team is attacking and controlling all the caps and has over 5 minutes left. Teach them that the ONLY thing to go for in this mode is for everyone to do as much DAMAGE as possible, since the win or loss doesnt matter for the points anyway (which is really pointless of WG anyway, win should give more, but...).

 

This is not a teammode in anyway, its a solo mode to do as much damage as possible.

Sorry to say that, but I think that SPGs have too many slots.

They shouldn't have possibility to have "additional" Artillery strike at least.

Maybe then there would be a little bit less SPGs in the queue....

Recommendation for SPGs: Engineering. Really? WG, its not April Fools anymore. :teethhappy: And agreed with iKnewIT that SPGs should not have 3 slots. Reduce it to two with only Smoke Screen and Recon Flight available to them.

So far I tried various combinations of 3 reserves to max first and complete the last 15 stages with, currently I run Smoke/Engineering/Airstrike and it workes OK I guess. Will probably prioritise Airstrike/Engineering/Recon for the rest of the year though... I play mostly Lights btw.

I played Arty with Engineering/Airstrike/Arty Strike once... It took 10 minutes to reach Major iirc...

First of all you should limit the premm tanks in frontline like max 4 per team (  8 in match) coz there is way to many progeto's and tier 8 light premm tanks...

 

Second you should remove arty from frontline we have air strike+ arty strikes why we need arty + ??

 

Or if you dont wanna to remove arty from FL then remove Airstrikes and arty strikes!!

 

Yestrday i got hited from 3 arty strikes  in 12 seconds plus on top of that arty slaped me....Awesome fun,i just quited same momment from playin FL keep your Rewards i dont want them in such fun gameplay in FL!!!

 

And i dunno but damn 100+ battles in same map?? RLY  WG??

Change the colour balance on your monitor after each game, then it's a new map.

would be an advantage to be able to change/choose the reserves during the ingame tank selection waiting period.

 

also as LEOPARDguns mentioned above, the fact that playing too well and winning too quickly is bad for your point rewards is one of the most flawed things (and feels like a typical WG working-as-intended-fail). hope they see the issues with that and find a fix.

 

PS: how about banning premium ammo at same tier battles (such as FL)? if you've done your balancing right, SPAmmo shouldn't be required. there is really no excuse for firing gold rounds there.

Hmm I lige my light tank with Engineering, Recon and Smoke. The smoke often does the last push for getting a cap done.

the combat reserves kill this mode and make you want to rage quit every time.

two classes that dominate this mode, lights due to their speed on large map, and arty due to their ability to rank up fast, have 3 slots each and completely ruin the game play.

artillery does not need 3 slots as 2 of them are used to rain more cancer from the sky. just look at the que to enter the game to see how much this class is op in this mode.

lights also should have their options limited to exclude arty strike and bombing run. stick to scouting role ones like recon, smoke etc.

the one class that needs more slots is heavy class as it is expected of this class to break the front lines and push into the enemy etc. at the moment this class is just constant arty/bomber run magnet.

wg developers please play your game more and read the feedback more

  • Heavy Tanks (1 slot): Any except Recon Flight

Recon flight is so OP. You throw it at enemy TD positions (places with bushes) / repair points [even as defending team] and get like 500-3000 assist damage, and 2,5k is like 1 rank... no one knows how to use it properly, so if you have game sense (blunicum-unicum) you can really reap the benefits of this one.

 

Tanks with 1 slot, unless brawler mediums: Recon flight only

 

Edit: Engineering for arty helps only on defense if you furiously shoot the cap. So 50% of the battles you won't have a 3rd skill then lol.

It's the best skill. Especially for SPG's since they are only there to farm cap ranks anyway. Yeah ok sure I'm only there to farm those points as well with my lights, but at least I have to work for it. :hiding:

Could you explain why? My understanding is that it is great for capping / decapping and I have never seen an arty in the cap circle…

 

EDIT: or does it work on dmg dealt too? Because then I can understand its use for SPGs...

Then I learnt something new; I always interpreted the Engineering boost working by pyshically capping / decapping. Did not realise that it works on decapping by doing dmg too (so without being in the cap circle). In that case I can understand Engineering working so well for SPGs, lol. Thx guys. :great:

Only when defending though. For attacking it is pretty much useless on arty. Overall recon is probably a better first pick.

would be nice if you can set up 2 options of those reserves. 1 for attack and 1 for defend mode. for example on heavy on attack i prefer engineering, for defend that reserve is useless.
