And your remaining teammates actually follow it and allowed them to win the battle.

Just had that happen on Prokhorovka (still hate that map) where we were reduced to 3v1.

On our team a 49%-er ELC (one-shot), a 48%-er Challenger (half-health) and a 45%-er Grille, up against an enemy 58%-er SU-100M1 (close to full health).

Normally, you'd say that's a lost battle, right? The TD hiding in the forest in that south-west corner with no real way of flushing him out and killing him.

I had already died, although luckily in the enemy cap circle (south side), so I asked the ELC to go cap and hide behind my wreck.

Fortunately, he agreed to do so, and that lured out the 100M1, and the ELC was smart enough to try and stay out of the TD's gun arc while the other two took shots at him.

His luck eventually ran out though, and the TD killed him, but it was enough to stall him for the other two teammates to put enough shells into him to kill him shortly after.

So what I want to say with this: with some guidance, and a willingness to follow it, even a seemingly lost situation can be salvaged even with some less skilled players on your team.

My thanks to those 3 players and a cheers to their victory against that 58%-er. :honoring:

They were lucky to have your advice. You were lucky they listened and it worked. Wish I could be lucky enough to not have “*edited noob team” every time anyone dies in chat.

I flick between being embarrassed for the “noob” who just died, annoyed by their foul tirade against everyone else and just downright amused.

Well played for offering something helpful. Most just cry.

It's a feelsgood situation to be in for sure.

Most of the time though, it ain't advice, it's some salt-hurricane coming from a camping TD I didn't spot for i.e. suicide-scout for. They don't stop until the match is over...if I die later, they laugh "haha now you dead" like...why...

Bless the "block for battle" feature.

When at start of the game you give an advice. "dont go to beach", and they go to beach and lose the game because of it... Thats my experience.

Yeah, just like the time I told my team the position of all the players who shot me, instead they went in the opposite direction to look for the guys that I just told them about. So after 5 minutes of searching they find them in the exact position I told them except we lose cause the enemy fired first.

I don't even bother to watch the rest of my battles. As soon as I die, I leave. 99% of the player base is bot anyway.

See, I try that from time to time but generally get told "stfu nab" so I start questioning their parents' life choices and it all goes downhill from there.
