I have been watching some twitch streamers to see if i should use my prime on. Im very disappointed that some of them says this game is dying and have become more bad than it was before. Does anyone else think so? I think wheeled tanks is a really bad direction for WG, but they prolly have lots of stats saying that wheeled tanks are good for the game.

The game is slowly dying indeed as it's passed it's peak a few years ago.

That in itself is not bad or odd, happens to all games, but the question should be if Wargaming is inadvertently speeding up this decline/dying by bad balancing decisions, OP premium tanks and gearing this game towards bad players (dumbing down the gameplay experience).

It only takes 30 players to battle, so its still ok.

I think you haven't played lately. The games are filled with Bots at the moment

Players with 1K-4K games and still low- 2 digits WN8.

Who run fixed routes to enemy and die within first minute.

The game might be OK but the player-base is dying fast.!

The GAME has been steadily improving each year with improved graphics, introduction of physics, new tank lines etc, the GAMEPLAY has gone utterly down the toilet however, with 'premium' ammo spam, impenetrable heavies (weakspots removed), OP tanks, horrific map changes (and removals), soapstone rocks, arty stun, shocking MM system and numerous other awful changes.

Well, its good to realize before you put in a lot of money and/or time that the game won't be around forever. Spend time/money only what you can do without.

Dying? Nah. For sure if you check the playerbase over the years it is much less now compared to when it was at it's highest, and yes it appears to be still dropping away slowly but unless there's some revolutionary mind blowing gaming experience that everyone will be able to afford and have, which would kill off all the current games no matter how popular tbh, then WoT should probably continue to run for the foreseeable future.

Thing about WoT is that if you trim away all the bs in it, of which there is a lot!, then you still have a pretty good online team based PVP game which is tanks fighting tanks. That in itself is probably going to remain attractive to enough players at any given moment to keep the playerbase large enough to keep at least one server going in most parts of the world and generate enough income as to still make it a viable sorce of income. WG would really want to try hard(and tbh at times they do!) to kill this game off. It's also one of the more generous games I've encountered where you just get lots of free stuff and chances to get some of the best premium tanks... I haven't encountered other games where you can play for a free top money tank.

Still, WG seem to stay really headstrong when it comes to changes. They seem to do it their way, if it goes wrong they force the issue and are very slow to change or make changes. This isn't endearing and I'm sure it rubs ppl the wrong way in a world where most ppl simply will not tolerate that in any facet of their everyday lives least of all some video game.

Most streamers are like politicians. They will say anything that will get them more viewers/subscribers. QB did a video about "game is dying1!!11!" and commented about that increase in his follow-up.

Hence the majority promote dislike vs clickers, talk how they think climbs are toxic, etc. Dez and QB are very much like this.

From the moment you become reasonable, nobody cares. People like drama and that's pretty much what WoT EU is all about.

Of course you can, nothing in the forums stops you from quoting twitch streamers.

QB & co have made videos about that for the past 4 years saying that. Yet... somehow... you all keep coming back. So WG does do something right.

Anyone remember QB banging his fists on the table telling us is WoT dying ? Demanding WG do something ?

Suprise Suprise, WG release post days later saying changes coming. He used his inside knowledge to convince us he had some sort of influence with WG.

I won't believe the game is dying until I read it on the Internet. If its on the Internet, then it must be true.

Its all WG fault... only positive thing past years was graphics improvments, but all the forced changes/retarded mechanics/nerfs and irrealistic made up tanks started taking the fun away... for us old players at least. Many of my friends did quit the game the reason was the same.

It seems fairly lively to me.
At least after Aion EU.

I wasn't around long enough to judge WG to be honest.
And i don't know how the game was back in the days (just made the acc back in 2012, lost interest quickly).
But believe me when i say, we have it a lot better than most of the mmo's.
