What the title says basically.

Light tank player here (I play all tanks but mostly lights).

Tired of being shot by naps on my own team because I didn't "go scout"........

Bear in mind that i'm probably the player who spots the most on the whole EU server....(probably).

And your suggestion is what? Banned on 1 shot? Turn blue on the 1st shot while you send 3 into him before you turn blue? As we have all been there with the slow flying 950 alpha HE shell. And the passive light a mile away now suddenly decides to flank your target and takes the hit vs the enemy. Bam.... banned. Nor is turning blue for 1 shot ideal for mishaps. As you bumping into a tank out of cap next game and suddenly the enemy to team ratio system kicks over.

Sure the mishap to deliberate ratio would suggest that few would be affected by that. But those few would be enough to start a rant going the wrong way and suddenly too many leave the game for getting banned for "nothing".

Team damage from one has never been an issue. It's the platoon team damage that is, and the massive combined damage they can do before even 1 turn blue.

That won't help them if don't spot the targets they want. Even if there is nothing there to spot. As what you did in the past don't help them there. It's why they rage in the first place. Regardless of what high regard you hold for yourself.

Team damage is going to be removed by September. Not that it will stop players shooting you and "go scout".

A good light player will know where to spot. It's not on the td players to decide where should be spotted. It happens often enough that people spam to any player (not only lights) that they have to spot a certain location, on a moment that it's useless. To give an example: the bushes on E1 on Prokhorovka and the area around it. More then once there's a light there that you can't out-spot without getting too close and get killed for it if you do try. Even when you tell your team there's a light somewhere there, they still yell at you to spot that side. All they care about is their own damage and not the team-play.

I do agree on the rest of your post though. It doesn't make sense to tighten the rules.

Where did you get this info from? As far as I know it will only be removed in Ranked Battles.

Really now?

Also i went to look at the OP latest stats in actual website and not looking at his sig

And he is playing even worse now, his recent statistics are pretty much halved.

So i stand by my original comment.

Yes really, those are the 'initial spots" not the bulk of spotting damage. Like when you spot some tank(s) for the first time in battle. Also note how low the multiplier is compared to the actual damage done and other components of the equation.

Try your hand at calculating this formula at least once, gives you a lot more perspective than reading it. :)

Which was kind of wrong actually since playing lights this way, depending heavily on spotting with little to no actual damage, doesn't reflect positively on his WN8!

That reminds me a recent Malinovka game in my Sheridan.

I was around 6k spotting damage when a IS-7 of my team, camping behind the buildings decided I wasn't doing enough and after some rounds of insults, hit me for 480.

When the game ended I was well over 10k spotting damage.

The whole game is toxic, but higher tiers are filled with dangerous nolifers.

WG is paying an army of useless employees but apparently could never afford a few game masters who would be much more effective than their simplistic automatic system.
