What I would love to see is WG for one day removing RNG.

The shells would finally go STRAIGHT, and the shells would actually penetrate acording to the penetration value.

The day could be called something like...christmas?

No RNG? You should have seen the closed beta of AW. 0% RNG. You lacked 1mm pen you ran. It was so popular that half the server left and they reverted back to 10% after half a day.

And shell goes straight? You ever have seen a high-speed video of a tank shell?

If there were no RNG in accuracy, all guns would be as accurate, leading to even more camping.

Damage RNG is pretty whatever.

Penetration RNG is grinding my gears a bit. Last time I played, I failed to pen 3 out of 4 shots that had around 70% chance to pen. That made me a bit sad. It is just absurd a 245 mm average pen gun can roll so low it can't pen the unangled LFP of a JT88, while also being able to roll as high that it can pen the superstructure of a JgPz E100.

Yes it would be so much fun having no RNG and being on 389 health in front of something with 391 health and a 122mm knowing full well there is absolutely no possible way you can stop him safely coming around the corner and killing you..

Just, no.

no.

the RNG component makes wot an interesting and less predictable game in some dynamics.

It could probably be modified, increasing or reducing it.

Removing it, even for a day, would be madness.

Or for a change replacing the RIGGED Numbers Generator with TRNG?

0 rng would be boring. Make it %10. Literally my dream.

What about you first THINK about something like that, including all pros and cons? Then you would easily realize that the game would be pretty much unplayable with zero RNG. No experiment needed.

Absolutely true. RNG is a must to make this game fun. The problem doesn't come from RNG itself, but from the waaay too large range set for it. As others have said above, a 10% range would be just perfect (as in +/-5%).

The actual 50% RNG range is just beyond stupid, no matter how you look at it.

How would 0 RNG work with gun accuracy? Ignoring that, as others already pointed out having absolutely no RNG wouldn't actually make for good gameplay. I'd settle for +/- 10% on damage and penetration, which would mitigate the stupid situations the current +/- 25% creates without the game becoming too predictable.

I'm also in favour of a complete overhaul of the way dispersion works but that's a different story.

No RNg would also mean no aim time and no dispersion.  This would be fun in the FV4004 and FV215 183, like Unreal Tournament Insta-gib...

Its a classic  negative post what about all the times the RNG saved your [edited]by dishing out a low roll or a bounce that really should not have  bounced

I can see I hit you WOT disciples in a soft spot there.

Would it ruin the game if the RNG was removed for one day?

-And no, the dispersion would still be active: read aiming time. When you're fully aimed, the shot will go where you point the gun.

Not at all, it's just a silly idea that you didn't bother to elaborate or even think about.

No, but what would be the point? You claimed that to be something positive when it obviously isn't, so what exactly is your intention there?

Pass, I'm not interested in a special day in which I won't enjoy the game. It'd completely ruin gameplay.

None of the above.

Placing one pixel on top of another isn't skill. Adjucating your chances of something happening and making risk-assesments and probability decisions is.

You people seriously lack the imagination. How often do you approach a tank on your damage + 1 HP? Like never? And how many times you shot a tank only to get under average roll and leave it with 1HP? And no, you can't safely approach a tank when you are a one shot even with RNG. And no RNG wouldn't mean there is no difference in the angle you shoot the tank. If you angle right, you still won't get penned. I personally think that the way WOT is constructed the RNG is necessary (although 25% is waaay too much) but I wouldn't be so sure if removing RNG from the game and maybe replace it with other mechanic (mainly for accuracy, because RNG on damage and pen could be removed without much problem IMO) would make the game a worse experience. I think there would be a lot less frustration and a lot less toxicity, because you could only blame yourself and not the game as it currently is.
