Good morning everyone,

I have been looking for a answer for this...but...haven't found one.

So if someone could answer the question or point me in the right direction :

How much XP is required to improve crew skills ?

I have the feeling that with the first few battles the trained skill goes up rather quickly...50...60...70...and at some point it starts to be more difficult to get the % up.

Same for starting a second skill. First % are easily done. Higher %age and especially the last few before reaching 100% take some time. On top of that the second skill takes longer than the first one.

Is that exponentially or something like that ?

Like you need x amount of XP to go from 50% to 60%.

But you also need the same x amount of XP to go from 90% to 91% ?

Hi,

You're correct - experience requirement does ramp up the higher you go. It's explained in the WoT Wiki, here's a graph from that page :

For example, for first skill, 0 to 75 requires 64977 xp, 76 to 100 requires 145087 xp.

In order to train your crew from first skill at 0% to 100%, you need 210064 xp

Second skill from 0 to 100%, you need 420128 xp

And so on. You can find a crew skill calculator here : http://www.planetwot.com/Crewxp/

Those feel like massive numbers, but there are plenty of multipliers (events, boosters) that stack up when training crews, stacking +100% xp and +200% crew xp booster on a +300% crew xp event trains you a first skill from zero in few dozen games.

You could try this http://www.planetwot.com/Crewxp/ for an indication of say 50 to 60%.

So you need 105k XP to attain first skill, then 210k for second etc, simply put double the XP is required for the next skill or perk.

Just had a look at one of mine that's grinding to seventh skill, wished I hadn't but never mind, it's going to take some 6.7million XP.

Boosters and crew specials can help....

Beaten to it:)
