I was thinking of trying to do the opposite of this experiment http://forum.worldof...iment-finished/

To buy only 1 or maybe 2 (do I don't wait in garage for that single tank to be available) premium tanks, premium account for a month and some gold on the fresh account so I can see what stats I can get. I don't care about tier, just care about having a most comfortable play with that tank. And in case I go with 2 tanks, it would help if they have a similar play style.

So which premium tank would you suggest?

If I could still have the ones I already have in my garage, hence the question being about buying just one premium tank and no more, then I should be satisfied enough. Although, I wouldn't be sure. It would either be OBJ 252U or AMX 13 57.

If you want 2 that play the same why not Obj252U and Defender? Keep everything the same, train the crews with the same perks and see if the stats come out the same at the end of the day.

For me it would be Skorpion G

Now you have to realise that tanks are not directly comparable, and what would appeal to some people may not appeal to you. In particular, if you are looking to "see what stats you can get" - some stats (e.g. WN8) are dependent on other player's performance with the tank - so it doesn't matter how good the tank is overall, it matters how much better you are with it than the other players. Oddly, you may get a better WN8 on bad tanks because good players don't play those

AMX13 57.

Though I'd hate to loose the Type 59 I found wrapped up in a cardboard box.

Comfortable to play? For me those two would be the ELC 90 and CDA 105. One is cheap as chips to run, thus profit after repair etc are great. And passive spotting on most maps for even easier farming still works. The zero repair and zero shots fired rounds are great. The other has 390 alpha and 260 pen. Just sit back and farm crew XP and credits. As he usually don't care how big the target is.

If I go with Lowe and T26E5 (both available at the time), which are similar tanks to me + 1 month of premium time and some gold to train crew. That would be like less than 100 euros. Any better suggestions?

Skorpion G.

Accurate like a TD.

Agile like a MT.

Rams like a HT.

You can play it in every map because of its adaptive nature.

Maybe to go with WZ-120-1G FT and AMX CDA 105 combo. That's even cheaper solution but somehow I feel it doesn't require much skill. On the other hand, that's what casual player needs

KV-5, but I suppose it would have to actually be available so... WZ-120-1 FT probably. That thing has been kicking [edited]and taking names for me lately even though me and TD's normally don't work very well together.

You want to pad stats? Start with premium light tanks. Type 64, Type 62, AMX 13 57. All are great for padding WN8.

I'm a casual player, I don't know how to play light tanks. And I don't want to pad stats. I want to do opposite experiment how casual player would play without grinding tanks

i have been thinking about starting an alt account as well, with 1 premium tank and only play that tank about 5000 times

it has to be something weird like: Chi-Nu Kai, 59-Patton, Steyr WT or FCM 50t. :P

ooh FCM 50t is available at the moment maybe its time to strike….

or maybe at next Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

If it's not about stats and you're only playing one or two premium tanks rather than grinding a line, what exactly is the point of the experiment? Or does "opposite experiment" also mean yours will have no point or conclusion? :P

I second that, it doesn't get any better when it comes to premium tanks. Although i am a Skorpion fan, the value for money is fantastic with the Type 64.

I would go 13-57

But as you don't play lights then the Super Pershing and Patriot or Patriot and the non skinned version is you want two the same.

Not rocket science really, requires the same knowledge of the game and maps as every other class. Maybe not as forgiving but the required amount of effort is the same as a heavy or a TD for example only much more rewarding!

To many of the above posters. Read the tanks on the OP's account and see which tanks he presently does OK with, rather than recommending tanks such as the AMX 13 57 which I personally love, but clearly would not suit the OP.

If looking to do well in an account T34-85M. It's tier VI so fairly comfortable MM, the tank itself is one of the best in tier VI. You have one on your main account, and by your standards it is one of your better tanks although small sample size with only four games in it. Again by your standards you were alright in the tech tree T-34 at tier V and the KV-13 at tier VII, which would then be complimented by the T34-85M as a crew trainer for that line. (I have not mentioned the tier VI T34-85 in the tech tree because you OP, fought only 38 battles in it, and seemed to have done extremely poorly in it compared to the tiers either side of it).

Again looking at your account, two of your better tanks are the KV1 and the KV3, you also did alright (by your standards) in the IS. So from the tech tree USSR heavy tanks are alright for you. Under those circumstances I would have suggested Churchill III as the second premium, but you have one and do badly in it. You also have a Defender (only 35 battles) and an IS6 ( only 22 battles) and do poorly in them.

It therefore seems to me if you are intent on a second account and stat padding then do not go above tier VII which tends to suggest an ISBerlin as the second premium. A tier VII IS Berlin could act as a crew trainer for your tech tree heavy line of KV1 and KV3.
