About the marathons and special events

I specially hate this new format of marathons, impossible for normal players and that reward bots and new accounts.

Miss the old marathon nation requirements...

None of above. I like the marathons themselves, but they attract a lot of trash players, who only yolo etc, or play selfish. These marathons encourage selfish game-play and the environment gets even worse then in weekends. I wonder who OP describes as "a normal person". I received both EBR 75 (FL 10) and TS-5 as reward for completing the full marathon. The old requirements aren't really fair as it forces you to have at least 1 tank of tier 6 or above for each nation.

I thought the requirements for the last marathon (TS-5) were fine and actually doable. I didn't because i wasn't bothered by the tank but it was much more achievable than the ebr marathon.

Bad poll is bad.

Couldn't care less about those marathons, let "those who have the time" have some fun.
But they definitely made and make gameplay worse, so, overall, I'd like to see them happening less often.

I'd really appreciate if WG made a schedule for these events per year or quarter. Also giving away more tier 6 and 7 premiums is cheaper, better for the MM and the requirements would be easier.

I actually did the TS-5 in 5 days in total. Previous ones were harder, so I like where WG is going towards. Sure, the TS-5 is nothing special, like the EBR or the Spaghetto, but it's still a Tier 8 Premium, which is always nice.

Don't care about marathons and events as such. What I don't like is the bundeled 'discount' way of selling. I wanted the EBR 75, but refuse to pay for bloatware and I'm not able to play a lot to get the price to an acceptable level. I really dislike this and still feel I got denied the one tank I was looking forward to to buy. So, no money for you WG.

Tho they are simpler and faster vs before if you put effort into them. So I kinda like it. But rewarding bots and new accounts? Well besides the T-34-85M that had no top 10 etc. And rewarded even idle players with progress. I would not say that as such. Rewarding new players is not a bad thing. But the old "get 100K XP pr nation" missions were bot farmed more than the new missions. As you actually have to do something on some of the stages vs idle farming.

And even a broken clock is right twice a day. It's still not enough to get up all 10 stages I bet with bad play alone for neither parts vs the 100K xp pr nation. As then you alienated even good veteran players that only did focus on 3 nations. Vs those that had a tier 6+ in every single nation to get 2x going. Like the IS-6 marathon that was locked to tier 6 tanks only. And Japan was included. That had one tier 6 that was added close before the end of the event, forcing us to grind a tier 6 Chi-to for 100K XP. Tho those marathons did last longer then 10 days. IS-6 and T26E4 lasted 3 weeks iirc. And T26E4 was 150K. I think XP and kills was the WZ-111 or T-44-100.
