I mean, every tank is like -30% on sale, what's the reason for it? I will buy some but, I'm just curious

Money?

Kindness to players?

Stocktaking?

Closing down sale?

Some call it Easter, I call it the last weekend of Frontline and the preparation for next session :great:

Ironically Easter was Eostre/Eastre and was the goddess of springtime and making babies. the old anglo-saxon name for April stems from the same. Heathen goddess mind none of this krustian malarky. hard choice though, chocolate egg and a sunday service or ploughing a field.... hmmm.

It's a mystery to those with no business sense.

Works for me, I've bought stuff I wouldn't have touched at full price

Strv1 Sta2

Chucking 275 HEAT about at tier 9s and 10s wakes 'em up

Still can't bring myself to want a Scorpion though, even if it was discounted

1 Money

2 The next wave of Op tanks. No one will want the "old" premium tanks after the next wave.

"holds sign" they all need to go...

When you devalue older premium tanks through powercreep, it makes sense to put them on sale to sell at least something. Nobody buys them at the same price as newer premium tanks that crap all over them.

Why would a business, with overheads, wages to pay and other stuff of that type, try and make money? :amazed:

And its not like a real discount from a manufactured product. Selling a few Kbytes and a photo to people that would never buy for full price is still profit.

Profit all the way for WG - selling stuff that's rotting away in a cupboard.

Of course if there are any that can still hold their own (fnarr fnarr) then 30% is a good incentive.

Even to a seasoned tight arse never paid a penny like me.

Try to sign up for a game before noon, number of players are going down, so WG have to get the money while they can. :)

They say it's part of their 8 year anniversary deals. Or is it?. Or you can go to your imagination to find why like the others here have done. As I doubt it's to prepare for FL again tho as one mentioned. As there will be a new sale when FL starts again, don't you worry.

Maybe the number of players isn't going down, but their employment rate is going up so they spend less hours per day playing [1]? "Declining number of battles played per day" does not automatically mean "declining number of people who regularly play". :great:

[1] ...but they will have more money to give to WG! :teethhappy:
