I used to own SuperPershing before the nerf, actually it was my first premium tank. But I traded it for JT88 when SP was nerfed. So, from those 3 tanks:  Patriot, SuperPershing or Revalorise, which one would you recommend that I buy?

Out of those three options, the Ravioli, assuming you're okay with paper armour... I hated the Paytriot last I played it, never played a SuperPershing. If you want armour I'd probably pick SP over Paytriot.

The super pershing is a PMM patriot. It's in a pretty good position right now and can only get better.

rev if you want a glorious doom canon medium with apcr super laser velocity shells on a tier 6 turnip platform

patriot if you want a good all rounder

SP if you like slow things.

rev harder to net good results but more capable in my eyes. patriot is my reccomendation its not as tough as t32 but a lot more mobile with a better gun!

Well, I don't have the SP, but between Ravioli and Paytriot, I'd go for Ravioli every time. There's no limit in the fun you'll have in this tank. Sure, paytriot may be better tank on paper, but in practice, nuh-uh.

T-54 mod 1.  You can facehug and bull a lot of tanks even after power creep.  Even whoops the T-44 sometimes.  Good all around tonk.

But it was buffed in patch 1.2 (October 2018) and kept its PMM...

  • Changed the engine power from 500 h.p. to 610 h.p.
  • Changed the Specific Power from 9.9 to 12.1 h.p./t
  • Changed the reload time from 8.2 to 8.0 s
  • Changed penetration of the AP shell from 192 to 202 mm
  • Changed dispersion during movement and on hull traverse from 0.24 to 0.22
  • Changed dispersion on turret traverse from 0.16 to 0.12
  • Changed the transition from the turret front to the turret sides from 76.2 to 101.6
  • Changed armor thickness of the turret front above the gun mantlet from 101.6 to 127 mm
  • Changed armor thickness of the ledge on the turret top from 101.6 to 127 mm
  • Changed armor thickness of the commander's cupola top from 76.2 to 88.9 mm
  • Changed armor thickness of the commander's cupola bottom from 76.2 to 114.3 mm
  • Changed armor thickness of the turret top front from 25.4 to 41.3 mm
  • The canvas of the hydraulic cylinders/compensators of the gun has been added to the collision model as a screen 25.4 mm thick

Compare it to the patriot...

Patriot have better gun with more penetration than SP and more armour. Rev have better gun regarding damage but similar to SP with penetration. So maybe Patriot + Rev would be OK purchase, its less than 50 euro

You sure that 202 mm pen can go trough anything? It used to be OK with me hitting weak spots several years ago, but current tanks dont have weak spots

Wouldn;t touch the super pershing with a barge pole, out of the three even now I would go with the ravioli although I think someone already mentioned the t54-prot as a good choice.

Nope there will be targets which you will need APCR to deal with. In this case they both have the same penetration, 259mm, but the SP doesn't meet tier 10s. Something that i value much more than the actual stats, i needed a tank that doesn't see tier 10 monstrosities. Also the SP armor can be trollish as hell...

I tried the Patriot in FL last week, since it did pretty OK in the session two months before and did very well last year. This year, it was a joke and I only bring it as a backup capper if I ever field it again. Its armour is nonfunctional, only its turret front has some OK armour but it only works if you can hide your entire body consistently and not even then all the time. It does have a nice rate of fire but no noteworthy alpha, so it's not very good at trading since it's not quick enough to get two shots in and withdraw safely against equal tier heavies. Its aimtime is HUGE after movement and turret rotation, still too long for my taste when you're sitting still and with this tank you can't really sit still. So good luck hitting fast tanks like scouts (esp. wheelies).

Honestly the Patriot is the only tank that made me actually wonder if a stealthnerf wasn't applied. I didn't remember it being this bad, but it plays terribly. Looking at the way the advice goes grabbing the Ravioli seems to be your best supported option. Up to you if you get the Patriot too, it's your money.

I haven't played any of these tanks, but the only one I am afraid of when I face it is the patriot.

As always the best tank for your gameplay is hard to tell.

I use the patriot in clan battles and it works great : mobility is ok, rof and pen are ok, no need for special ammos.

Armor is ok as long as you only show your turret.

I bounced lots of progetto golden ammos (its only choice for ammo it seems).

Patriot is the best heavy pretending to be a medium, Spershing is the best medium pretending to be a heavy and the Ravioli is the best tank pretending to be useful. If I were buying them again, Patriot would be my first choice but I play the Ravioli more often because I find it more fun (for a personal value of 'fun', your interpretation of fun may vary).

Patriot, or better, what the Pershing should be.
