I had no idea there were so many cheat mods out there

The update from June 1st will deffo make a difference for proper players

https://worldoftanks...ate-april-2019/

All those "brilliant" players with ESP will be devastated

There's so many cheating little gits out there its ridiculous

sounds like someone got outplayed and always blames it on cheats

sure those "cheats"  are used but doubt even close to the ammount you are thinking

I suppose the poorer players would need to use them, otherwise they would get stomped on by proper talented players

I've seen that 1st mod on the list on many streamers. It's a part of a modpack so quite a lot of players use (as far as I've seen).

The amount of advantage a "cheat" like that gives is questionable.

More importantly WG have previously stated that gun indicators on the mini-map are legal.

Never found an aimbot yet, oddly enough WG deemed it ok to put on on their new french wheelbarrow, nothing but double standards, either incorporate into the vanilla client or ban all mods, and you just watch the riot that that will bring if they do.

WG mention in the news item that they're going to have "another massive ban wave".  That seems unlikely if there aren't also a massive number of people that need banning.  We should start taking bets on what the final number will be in this next "massive" ban wave.

And the problem is how do they now inform players that a mod that they previously stated was legal is now illegal. I don’t think it’s reasonable that this is done just by an announcement on the website considering we are talking about a seven day ban.

1 I used that minimap indicator for barrels 5 years ago when i used mods. It gives a massive advantage in chaotic city fight or when peeking someone that has to watch multiple angles so it should be disallowed.

2 Eh? I don't really see the point in this one. If a player has such bad situational awareness that someone sneaks up on them they won't notice these either.

3 I thought this was banned long ago?

From my Team Fortress and Counterstrike days I reckoned at least 40% of players were using cheats

If a cheat mod stopped working because of an update it became a killfest for up to a week

....until the next cheat mod came out and got downloaded

Game update -> force mod update -> mod makers are notified and have removed it ?

Tbh, for things such as this there should be an ingame popup.

From 20k games in this game, there is not a single case, where i could say "Yea, this guy is definitely cheating", I have been suspicious about some odd stuff, but cheating is not common in this game. Sorry OP you suck at this game that much, that everyone looks like cheating to you, but git gud or Edited

There should be a flag on anyone using in-game mods, put it on the in-game marker

and his stats should show a player is a mods user

We need to separate proper skilled players from the mods users

It’s more just wondering how WG will handle it as I don’t have much confidence that they’ve put much thought into when a legal mod changes to an illegal one. Hopefully they’ll put in a technical solution which means this mod just no longer works and as you say a in game popup.

It doesn't just tell you who's nearest, it tells if if they have line of sight and if they're aiming at you, it tells you if they're not aiming at you...which like the mini-map one allows you to engage safely while keeping track of all enemy tanks distance and gun barrels around you.

Here is the full description......

It's not double standards because wheelies have the same auto aim as every single vehicle does. You just don't need to click on the silhouette and have some more space around it.

At CQ, that "advantage" becomes more of a nuisance.

What about those mods who give you information about their HP? Like per vehicle?

From the passion with which you talk about these mods I'll assume you don't use them, so where exactly would this separation leave you?

Spoiler
