Umm? Whats the special for this event? I see only x2 XP bonus for wins. Kind of a let down.

The Tiger on tier 6 needs some better gunhandling, accuracy and pen to be more competitive. It has a tier 5 gun now. It should have the same penetration numbers as the M6 or Firefly. As a heavy, you almost HAVE to encounter other heavies frontally (it's to slow to flank, even if maps allow it) and if you are facing tier 8's, you don't stand a chance. Not even against some tier 8 mediums like the T54 prot or the RAAC.

 

On the other side, the turret became very trollish after it's buff. You can bounce a lot of tier 5, 6 and 7 shells with that 160 mm gunshield. The 131 has a smaller cupola than the Jap, so it's a viable ridgeline tank with 8 degrees of gundepression. I've had great games on maps like Sand River with it!

 

I 3-marked the Tiger 131 and the Japanese Tiger with pleasure. In the current MM tier 8 battles are less common and against tier 7 you will be doing fine with the occasional gold round. It could and should have a more competitive gun, but it's overall fun to play. And it looks amazing.

 

You are 99% correct, but you forgot to mention that T-29 has FANTASY 280mm turret gun mantlet.

(in real life it was only 200mm, but same tank and Turret was for years Tier10 tank in this game and now is Tier9 TD, so it is FINE in Tier7)

( (just like Tier7 SU-100M1 with 210mm hull and 250mm casmate) )

 Mighty Tiger131 can not scratch the paint off this BALANCED soviet Tier7 TD, more mobile but with same(or better) armor as Tier9 German JagdTiger

 

But at the same time, Tiger had roof of the Turret 45mm thick, in real Life history.

No no no, can not have real-life armor for Tiger tank in this game.

Worse than History for Tigers, OP Fantasy for others.

Very nice of you to mention T54 prot or the RAAC, more FANTASY armor, all Tier8 centurions in real life had 150mm turret armor, but now, it is from MIN. 250mm all way up to 500mm.

Imagine if they gave SAME amount of armor Centurion got...  to the Tiger.

Oh my, it would have over 300mm turret and 80mm turret roof...   it would have THE SAME armor as other same tier MEDIUM tanks in same game.

Cant have that, NO FUN FOR YOU in German tanks.

 

Better cancel Tiger day and make new Object Day and Centurion Day, the mockery was fun first few years, now it is just old.

This - just got a mastery in my ferdi - first run out in ages but no bonus - the only reason I went in the tank was for the bonus

One of the things I made sure was that I didn't already have a crew assigned to the Tiger 131 as I did wonder myself if you already have a crew whether it would give you a second crew or not. I previously re-trained the Tiger 131 crew to another tank, so it worked fine.

I have the same problem. I've played more than 10 games with Ferdinand, and for none of the games I won I didnt recieve X2!?!

Welp, go figure. I'm also wondering what kind of discounts are there since the tech tree vehicles aren't discounted, nor are the premiums in-game. Guess it's only the Supreme and Ultimate Tiger 131 "discounts".

I am doing the Tiger day missions and there is somting going wrong.

On the webside in the part of restrictions (see restrictions.jpg) there is a list of tanks. This 1 is differend then the 1 in game (see shot-001.jpg).

Now i won 4 battles (see shot-003.jpg) and onley got 2 victory's for the tiger day mission. The Ferdinand and the VK4503 are missing in the list in game and you do not get the reward for those wins.

You are right, there is a difference between the tanks that were announced in the website and the one that you can actually complete the mission with.
It seems that the Ferdinand and the VK were not included and the Alpine Tiger was.

There hasn't been any update regarding this change so we still don't know if it was a mistake or intended.
