Now as this section of the forum is up and running I would like to help stem the flow of "confusion" in what we can expect to see in this new, and exciting Nation in which we know as the "British Tech Tree".

So enjoy discussing this section of the British SPGs/Artillery Branch.  

i would like to see a british tank tree in WoT It would finally put the discussion over the churchill over as the British one had 137mm armour in mk8 form also it would be good to see the tanks as they played a central role in the conquest of france, north africa and germany.

When are we getting british tanks ?
Why was the game created with out them ?

Personally I disagree with the idea of the Firefly being a Premium tank.  It should be in the TD line at least.  Ok, so it was an American Sherman Tank...but it was used pretty much exclusively by the British who stuck a freaking massive gun in it!

I don`t understand why you didn`t include British tanks in the first place. Yet you include French Tanks???  Britain was the only country apart from Germany to fight the war from start to finish, we built many thousands of tanks which fought in North Africa, Burma, Madagascar and Europe. yet Britain is not included in this game. Relieved that they are finally being brought in but annoyed they weren`t here from the start tbh
Britain was the country that invented the tank in the first place

I would say:

Firefly Tier 6 Medium

Cromwell Tier 5 (more a substitute to the M4 Sherman than to the Easy Eight)

Crusader Tier 4

and Valentine .... somewhere else  

Even I am german, I love Allied Tanks (no french^^) and also I can't understand why they add French tanks instead of British.

Look at it this way, atleast some British tanks are ingame, even if they are under a different faction tree, atleast its been acknowledged that we sold and supported tanks to other countries, would be amazing to see our noble engineering to its full extent in this game.

for tier 10 tank destroyer I think they should include the jagd chieftain
and for tier 9 arty prototype which has a 25 pounder gun based on the centurion chassis

Why Sherman firefly premium ?

Tier x td will likely be fv215  or fv4005.  25 pounder arty will need to be around tier 4.

Firefly is going to be a medium in the tree not gold. This tree was proven out of date before Christmas.

The firefly I predict will be a bridge between the med and td tree or part of a second medium line or less likely just a detour branch of the medium line like the kv-2.

And I didn't said that there won't be 2nd TD or heavy line.

And since it's WG and that interview is pretty old you can't really believe any word in there, because WG tend to change things on the last minute...

There is a press release coming 'Soon'^TM     so that might clarify things somewhat
