I have experienced a bug while driving the wheeled vehicles that shortly after a jump if you hit a vertical wall you will take damage while all wheels are in contact with the ground. This has occurred on multiple occasions and makes the overall experience of playing with these vehicles rather risk averting as to deciding against making  cool jumps that we all want to make

I presume this bug could easily be recreated with a small undulation (bump) on the ground going at high speed and a brick wall or any other vertical wall for that matter.

Looks like you just nosedived straight into a solid object. Not seeing how that's a bug.

that never ever happens with normal tanks ever. as you can see and i have said this can be easily recreated against a solid wall basically driving foreward

So you jump probably with a high speed from a  (small) hill , crash in a thing made from concrete and damn solid, but you wonder why you have taken damage...

Why?

It looks like a normal and expected thing to happen to me. I lost tons of hp dropping 2m with 1km/h in a lot of tanks....

Something very similar happened to me today in my progetto 65. The game still sees you as 'flying', which turns bumps that would otherwise not hurt at all, into deadly crashes. It is not a WV bug, it is poor programming that affects wheeled cockroaches more than most. Can't say that bothers me, much. Broken things need removing from the game.

Yeah, falling damage is very random with WVs, not much you can do. I've accidentally jumped off the cliff on Maliovka into the Water once and took minimal falling damage, but I've also hopped over small bumps and instantly got destroyed for full hp.

It seems that landing with all wheels simultaneously is the single most important factor in determining fall damage, in your case the front right wheel was slightly off the ground so it treated it as a full mid-air crash.

Well you understand my frustration and it seems its not a bug rather than lack of foresight from the Game Devs and testers, a solution to this problem would be fixing the number of contact points needed for triggering free fall damage model, or it could be a server side mistake using old state of the tank and calculating the collision with it rather than at the exact moment of it happening.
tl;dr whoever has experienced it knows its really annoying.

Considering how often it happens it's not worth the resources or effort to try and "fix" it when the simpler solution is to just be more careful when you're driving. Wheelies already have a much better ability to traverse slopes than tracked tanks anyway because they can't be flipped as far as I can tell so if this is the tradeoff I'm fine with it.

They can get flipped, but flip right back up. Which is quite unfair. Regular lights need to be driven with some care, but the cockroaches can do silly stuff and if they fall over, they turn right back up in the blink of an eye.

These wheele "tanks" are just a big joke. They can hit everything from everywhere from any speed....

What WG does with these little bugs...no comment. More and more bad decision coming in this game. The implementation of these wheele "tanks" of them...

If I drive a Cromwell off a bridge I get damage when I land, so why would a wheeled vehicle be any different if you pull a big jump, which by the way is utterly stupid, the cars are jumping around the place like dirt bikes!
