Make light tanks only do spotting damage

Now that WG has decided to nerf arty there is no need for light tanks as a counter agianst arty aka light tanks dont need to dmg. It will also bring them in their original role as spotters. This will also bring this game back as a game focused om main tanks (med/hvys) and not fluff like arty and light tanks.

 

I know that WG needs to collect stats before they something, but they should start this now so lights tanks are corrected by patch 1.6

Where do TDs fit into your tanking utopia?

As long as there are bushes in this game there should be TDs. What are your reason to ask for my opinion? Havent I stated it!

Right, because we have so many maps that are good to farm spotting damage. I wonder why the best spotting damage replays are from Malinovka and Prokorovka... /s

 

Honestly, LTs are already one of the more thankless and difficult classes to play with the game as it is now, no need to beat them further into submission.

Thank God WG never listens to our community. Btw arty nerfs are very welcome and well appreciated. And the only nerf is stun and the fact that you can no longer fully turn your tank and take a shot at a tank while your totally u-aimed and yer do 500 damage with your splash. Now you have to focus on slower tanks and get a direct hit and thanks to these changes there will be less and less slow tanks, and you will get so many bad games that you may just end up playing arty. 

And don't blame me, It's WG's fault. They made arty so annoying, They made most of the matches have 2~3 arties. And the fix to arty is not to destroy another class.

Personally I wouldn't mind getting the old scout MM (+4) back, but that doesn't really fit into their 3/5/7 template so we will not get it.

 

But for scouts to really work mainly as spotters we would need more open maps and on mixed maps reduce the city parts significantly (or make more buildings destructible) or at least the map rotation being better slanted towards open maps.

We get shot in the azz by team twats on a regular basis

Hated more by our own team than the enemy many times

 

Expected to die by your own team scouts are already the worst choice of tank you can make

 

Half the maps in WoT are total crap for a scout tank and unavoidable

 

 

and now some genius wants to take away our ability to shoot back

 

A glittering career in the government or a soulless corporation awaits you

That was also super bad design by WG. Limiting arty to 3 per team but giving them this big splash radius and stun made them 100 times more annoying. Back then they would either hit you or miss you. Now they either hit you or splash you. They can do 300~400 damage every time. They are more consistent but more annoying. The reload is way too fast and there is no escape. That's why on almost all open maps, when there are 2~3 arties every abandons 1 flank because whoever goes there gets smoked. Arty splashed all the tanks with 1 shot getting 50~60 seconds stun. WG should make the game better and they know 3 arty per team is way too much. That's why it is limited to 3 in FL and 4 in GB. Yet they refuse to limit it to 1 per team in randoms.

I would rather be against 1 arty every single battle than face 3 arty even once.

and HT are not allowed to do dmg either, they are supposed to block dmg

Anyone who teamshoots a light/scout tank gets 4x the number of hitpoints against them
