Yay! I love this tank! Probably the best tank of early cold war era.

Why are you not mentioning also the australian variant Cent mark 5/2 which had 105mm gun . It could be a very good potential premium tank!

The article is partially correct, but it is missing the Centurion's finest hours in combat, the Golan Heights sector in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

Battles in which 20 Centurions faced off 200-300 Syrian T54/55/62's and picked them off from ranges of up to 4km.

Tzvika Greengold's heroics, Avigdor Kahalani and OZ77's heroics.  Saving Israel despite Odds that are inconceivable.

There is no tank that Israeli's (patriotic ones) hold in higher regard then the Centurion.

I would have been cool if they mentioned the Atomic Tank, which was a Centurion tank that survived a nuclear blast, and could be driven away from by itself, and later serving combat in Vietnam. Also been cool, if they mentioned that the Centurion tank is still in use in South Africa as the Olifant.

Centurions in this game are not "well protected". This relegates them to support status, i.e. "sniper tanks". Which in reality means you cannot approach the frontline unless you want to be killed in 15 seconds.

It's true on flat terrain, but in hull down a centurion can hold its ground in 1st line like a boss. This turret can be a nightmare.

Maybe because that goes against WG view that russian tanks are the best in the world and no other nation can best them in tank design..... well in WG own little world I guess they can believe in that. Love my Centurions ingame will always have a smile the time I was in my Primo Victoria on fjords and had a T-54 try take me on in the middle pond, I crushed it literally by somehow driving onto it and crushed it for max hp, don't mess with the Centurions they can surprise you in many ways lol.

Also the Indo-Pak war where Centurions faces Pattons and came out victorious in a number of battles.
