My nickname in high school/college was "bear", cause I'm big & hairy. 82 is the year I graduated (college). Yes, I am that old. :)

named after a song of soulfly:

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=btnqpFgNNNc

Whoever told ya you can never be free
Whoever told ya you can't seek out that dream
Whoever told ya you can never be free
Whoever told you that is your enemy you see...

My life is mine, my right is mine
Cause it's my life, you see, not your life
My life is mine, my right is mine
Sometimes you have to lose your mind...

No Hope = No Fear

I won't wait for the next life
The time is now, the time is right
Follow my heart, I'll get through
If you're not now, you never were

So lose yourself to find yourself
Don't need to act like nobody else
Sometimes it feels as if the road is blocked
I'll find a way, I'll move those rocks

Freedom!

My nick is/was my DJ nick.

Hy as artifical homophone for "High"
Phon is a unit from (psycho)acoustics.

So it's spoken: "High Phon"

And my mates from TS know why I choosed this nick! ;)

mine I got both parts differently, Tenshi is a nick name a buddy gave to me. He was actually born in japan and Tenshi means angel or heavenly gift in Japanese. I was always a dick, in a playful way, to him and well everyone around me so he started calling me tenshi as he said I was such a wonderful gift from god, the sarcastic ass XD. When I went to use it for games though tenshi was always taken so I decided to make it tenshi no strife, meaning angel of strife, cause I thought it was cool, but that name was too long so I cut out the no and just stuck with tenshi strife.

Prior to this I came from a game called ace online. I used this name because several people I used to be in a clan with play this now. Before I quit I was a level 92 IG and had both the Serapia and Exorcist binder. My evasion was like 122% - 132% If I remember correctly and I was almost impossible to hit. Was probably one of the best IG's on BCU prelude.

Well Marauder was taken so i used MaruaderK for the K var. of the mech

Named by IS-3 tank (slang speech on my langugage, two words merged). Although it's only temporary: as always, I will use my rl nickname once the game is released.

Came about a few years ago during a LAN party.  I am a very average gamer.  While I can usually hold my own, I rarely am the top dog, and it is not uncommon for me to be completely dominated by superior players.  My chances of success often feel very random.

Hence, the games I play online are a "crap shoot".

Old Ironsides...
Had to come up with a nickname for Navyfield EU, since usually I have a different nickname for each game I play.

Taking into consideration that...
- I dislike names that sound like childish metal bands
- I dislike show-off names
- I dislike militaristic worshipping of people whose job is/was killing or a fetish for weapons (even though I like playing war games and being interested in military technology and history)

[No personal offence meant]

... I looked around and I saw the box of a model-kit of USS United States (the post-War-of-Independence frigate), remembered her sister ship USS Constitution and her nickname "Old Ironsides" (referring to British cannon shots bouncing off her wooden hull), and decided to use it as a quite fitting name for a naval war game ;-)

Registering to WoT I've just been too lazy to come up with another name, and by now I've found out that Old Ironsides is the nickname of US Army 1. Armored Division, so it fits to WoT even more.

I fix Jet engines, but "Enginefix" sounds lame.
