Fat size (what),not-the-best gun handling, average mobility. Even though T8 MTs are quite weak anyway, this one is just... average. It has nothing to stand out with.

only DPM,pen and sort-of hulldown ability.

Where is the camo I paid for and was promised? I feel cheated again. Why can't British take notes of Soviet tank designs? And not idiot-proof like designs, but things like K-91 for instance.

I feel kinda embarassed.

no thx i prefer my good gun depression of british tanks over the garbo depression of most russian tanks

while it is not a keeper it is still pretty decent i would say, good gun depression with strong turret. way better than most other t8 meds i would say

cent7/1 being fairly amazing tho

It was like that on day one. Sadly it's still like this. And if you feel cheated? Well you could have found a 6 year old review of it. As nothing has changed over the years. It has a 20 pdr, and that gun is still terrible on anything but the AT-15 on tier 8. Turret is still working tho unlike the 7/1 they nerfed instantly as it bounced even Jp E100 shots hull down.

Tho... tier 9 is worth the suffering.

I liked it. It's got a trick it can do. Not a lot of tech tree medium tanks have a sort of bullet proof turret, good gun and gun depression in the same package. At least on tier8. Pershing has a mantlet, that's the closest one I could think.

Cent1 pretty meh, it just feels sluggish

Canaervon ax not much better, looks great on paper but its too slow, a tortoise hitbox if you're not in cover

FV4202 a bit of a beast, very decent mobility

Cent 5/1 pretty decent too and mobile

Cent 7/1 has that spanky 105 gun and reasonably mobile (haven't played that one much tho)

If a british tank lacks mobility I find I just can't get on with it, you really need a good crew as well to get the most out of a British tank

I've held up 3 obj430s on a ridge with a FV4202, if you can get get your shots in that gun rocks

The main complaint is poor alpha

I did the stock grind in April's Frontlines, where it was actually ok without the top gun.

I have just got my hands on this and any help with it is most welcome . About 10 games in and ..... well suffice to say I suffer at tier 8 anyway and this is no exception.

Man's gotta know his limitations I suppose

49 games in (and a whole bunch of time during April's FL) and it is a struggle. This is my first tech tree Tier 8 and the transition from Tier 7 is a big one. The problem I have with the Centurion I is that it's a support tank. It excels (and I've had some really good battles) when in the second line, playing hull down, behind a heavy or two who know what they are doing. The turret is very strong and will bounce a lot. In those situations I find I can be a real asset to our side. A case in point was a battle on Live Oaks this evening. I was able to play around the hills on the South-Eastern side of the map without fear and did really well. The problem is that it's a tank that requires teamwork in a game that sadly lacks a lot of teamwork.

Support tanks like the Centurion work great in platoons. Check out the forumites channel or find a platooning clan. GL & HF

I kinda liked the Centurion, even though I grinded through it in the time that it was way slower. The turret is bulletproof, you can abuse that. The only thing that bothers me is that they released the RAAC Centurion, which is flatout better. Blatant pay 2 win. Shameless by WG.

Why do you want to announce this really...
To each their own I'd say

Tier 8 is a tough move up from 7, though fortunately my Centurion (so far) hasn't met many tier 9 or 10, just all tier 8 games.

That's put the kybosh on it every game tier X from now on i bet.

At my level I don't mind it. For me, it's performing above my average and considering I managed to 2 mark the Comet before it it could possible be a line where the high tiers suit me.

I do not keep any tier 8 tanks, tier 8 keepers are premium tanks.

I liked the Centurian, its not what it is supposed to be since it should be the best medium tank in its tier, buts its an OK tank once its elite.

Anti British bias...

P.Victoria kinda better tank for me

Centurion 5/1 RACC  better tank

SuperPershing better tank...

Hmm...is it pay to win??? nah its not :)

Centurion 7/1 is kinda good, i love it.(Just dont even try play it stock, you will have  vary bad time) you need about 150 000 free expiriance to full upgrade.Do you have so much??  So yes, use your credit card :D

btw ...Comet best tank in the line.

Didn't keep the Centurion 1 but am keeping the 7/1 and probably the Action X though not played that yet.

The Premium version the Centurion 5/1 is a much better proposition.
