Victory day. Were is DEFENDER?

On the Wargaming premium shop on the EU web site, for the Lorraine 40T offers, It says "Bonus: 100% CREW IN MAJOR QUALIFICATIONS".

 

Can someone from Wargaming please tell me what the hell this means?

 

Is it a super special crew or just the usual waste of time 100% crew that nobody wants?

 

Oh and nearly £35 for the Spaghetti medium is still far too much of a rip off, when most other tier 8 premium mediums are about the £24 mark.

Got them all - all good tanks.

 

I'd sooner see an engine boost than DPM boost to the ELC Even 90. This little bugger is probably the best spotter in the game - they don't all have to be killer tanks.

True, but EVEN 90 is in my opinion the best passive scout in game. Wheeled vehicles are ok i guess but problem is you need to constant move to get any scouting.

Chances are that they aren't ready to break the Frontline mode more, than they have already with the first time they sold them.

No sign of the 'pyaterka'... EU is getting 'spoiled' again. The Victory Day is apparently not big enough for us EU-peons to get some special offers. Well, there are the Lorraine and Progetto that we get like the RU did, but.. but....

Maybe T 44-100 will come back again this time alone without 360 days of premium. It would be good as the second tank after projetto for frontline.

Tried it on my brother account and i was not impressed. Sure autoloader is nice but everything else is mediocre.

Anything can and will penetrate you in any angle possible. Speed is ok i guess. But save your money and wait for IS-3A it is much better tank for your money so wait for it.

 

Lorraine 40 t:

Good speed, autoloader is great, reload time is good you can unload all 4 shells and make enemy life a living hell. Penetration is very good 232/263/50.

Paper armor, but it have good gun depression so you will need to hide behind hill hulled down. Big plus is unique camouflage.

 

ELC EVEN 90:

Excellent speed, excellent camo values (it can go over 1000 no problem with camo net and camo training for crew), 3 shot autoloader is nothing special but it can sneak behind enemy lines and destroy SPG's no sweat.

Problem is you see tier X tanks in your MM, but good thing is you can outrun them no problem. Price is good also.

 

I must say you have some veeery strange opinions, sir!  Maybe it's because you only have 7k battles and don't really understand how this game works.

 

Why am I saying that? While I can't say much about the Lorraine or the ELC as I don't have them, I can tell that Progetto is a very very very good medium tank. It can do absolutely everything: scout, flank, switch flanks,  snipe, brawl vs tanks with small HP, snap shot, finish off and even pull off a ricochet or two when you least expect it. I don't own an IS-3A, but I've played it on the test server and its capabilities are soooo much inferior to the Progetto's... it's just ridiculous.

Regarding the differences between the Progetto, and the IS-3A, the first one of those two is a highly mobile, and quite a versatile machine that can reach further points on the map quickly, deal damage, and then fall back, but when it comes to the Soviet heavy, first it has to roll itself forward to the 1st line, and then it is actually able to deal some damage. In the end it all comes down to what you really want to play with, mobile med, or slower heavy.

For the Soviets it was more like rushing B, rather than defending, at least in the later part of the war.

Lorr is a great tank, the hit and run style of the auto loader takes some getting used to but I would definitely recommend it.

Only thing I can play in FL is arty... good mode to grind Arty.

 

Can't play any other thing, FL= rental tanks with aimbots galore
