If your running PM's staying in the game when your team is getting mashed  is a waste of exp your not going to get anything out of it so suicide and try another match, games lost anyway so makes no difference!

Been in plenty of 0:8 battles which have turned around, and been in plenty of 8:0 which we have managed to lose.

There's only really ever 3 to 5 players on a team who decide the outcome.  As long as they are alive it's winnable.

Bought a ticket to a movie.

Started to watch that movie.

Then realise that the movie is very bad.

What would you do?

Stay and suffer for one and half hour?     ... ie.: lose your own time.

Leave and enjoy the life?         ... ie.: lose your invested money.

I prefer to enjoy life.

What a weird comparison, leaving the bad film does not affect enjoyment of the others in the theater.

Remaining and talking loudly throughout the film about how bad it is, would be closer.

Most games especially the 15-0 wipes last barely 5 minutes, by the time you realise its going to be a wipe probably 2 or 3 minutes have already passed.

Again that is nothing like wasting 1 and a half hours its more like wasting 2 minutes.

You forgot that you bought that ticket together with 14 friends.

And that you perfectly knew that the movie will suck, but you still came to see it.

Due to a complete lack of game balance most battles aren't particularly enjoyable for at least one of the teams, and every player deserting increases the chance of a battle snowballing towards its hasty conclusion. It's not the most cryptic of comments.

Interesting idea. Nice idea.

In reality a RAREly saw any teamplay in random games.

It is not a game of 2 teams (made of 15 people of each).

It is mostly randomly selected 30 people, seperated into to opposing group.

It is more or less a death match. In old FPS games it is called team death match.

The funny thing about teamplay is that when it happens in my experience it tends to be near the end of the battle, it involves only two or at the very most three people, and they never communicate whether through chat or map pings, instead appearing to work through a sort of hivemind. If there is any communication beyond someone with an autoloader informing the other(s) when he's ready to fire things tend to go awry.

Essentially it's two (or three) roughly equally skilled players still doing their own thing which just happens to be the same thing the other guy had in mind.

If you desert the game you get banned from the game for X amount of hours (not sure)

+ that 50% algorithm you can forget that in the weekends especially weekends like this one with a 5X reward ....its more like 30% win chance...

And its not Wg just the special weekend marathon m*ppets comming out strong  in platoons off course F*ng up every match they enter ....(and they always top tier)

And platooning up also dont work because 9 out 10 battles you end up being bottom  tier platoon....and your top tier platoon will be m*ppets...vs unicum top tier platoon enemy's.

Deserting is the one thing that the game actually punishes you for, so any other way of ending it quickly is better. Drown yourself, drive of a cliff, W key into the enemy, pick one.

And btw no, you don't get banned for deserting, at least not right away. First nothing happens, then heavily reduced XP, then 0 XP and credits. Maybe at some point it'll ban you but I've never come that far.

XP is XP

Look at it this way.

You will still end up getting XP for your crew and tank regardless of outcome. If you leave. You get nothing and you wasted your time.

Load HE, point toward enemies, charge in a shoot  at the first thing you see.
Takes a few more seconds but:
1- you do usually some damage and criticals (wich can be considered as assistance dmg)
2- you spot something and u can get credits from spotting damage (unless you're in a churchill GC let's say...)
3- sometimes it happens that with this action you can:
A- trick the enemy and shred them to death if you have an op tank, it has happened to me multiple times.
B- find no one, reach their base, kill the SPGS, start to cap ---> a lot of people do not understand the "psycho war" tactic importance, there's nothing that deconcentrate players like that syren screaming even if it takes a lot to full cap, and there will always be someone that decide to abandon the fight to go back and decap, that means you relived your comrades by one enemy or more and sometimes if there's omeone else of your comrade you can even cap to the win

Either way deserting is never, NEVER A good choice
Suicide and drowning aswell.
You don't want to play frustrating matches, it's perfectly fine i understand you, But at least if not for the respect you shoud pay to your teammates try to get some profit from every match.

Never really understood why people don't get that steamroll games are fundamental to how the game is played, the only way you'll ever really reduce them is putting re-spawns in, and even then we have seen in Frontline that they can still happen.

Ranked teams are 'balanced', from my experience more one sided games happen.

Games between equal skilled clans can easily end in one sided steam rolls, hell I've been rolled over by statistically weaker clans on occasion.

Its just how the game works, 15 v 15 and no re-spawns, meaning number advantages steam roll.

I don't care about stats so I drown, dive off a cliff or shoot HE into a wall, it's all good. Or simply hang on and congratulate the special players on a good game, then get a chat ban.

Well played WG
