So since January the game has been crashing at times and that stopped all of a sudden. But now after 1.5 patch the game started making my laptop shut down. It happens while I'm in a battle, it goes to a black screen there's a loud screeching sound and my laptop restarts. This is the only game this happens in.

My rig is:

Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz

GeForce GTX 980M on GM204-B GPU

16 GB ram

Attached File   python.log   1.68MB Attached File   DxDiag.txt   70.06K

Clear the dust out of your fans and stop playing with the laptop sat on your duvet.

I don't and they're clean.

The fact that the screen goes black is fine.

And the loud screeching sound, if the fans are ok, would be a sign for me to go see a pro ... before it blows up or something ...

Granted, I am not too good with computers however computers do not usually make loud screech sounds ... just saying ...

Sounds like overheating, check your temps...

I found with my laptop the only way to properly clean it was to remove bottom cover, about 15 tiny, tiny screws, and remove fan to get to the heatsink. Used to do this every 6 months or so.

This cured my laptop overheating.

If you aren't sure how to partially strip your laptop have a look at this..
