Just wondering if those 3 stickies ever actually get reviewed. Anyone actually know?

Nope. Occasionaly a WG staff member might accidentally stumble onto RU forums after a night of particularly hard drinking, but not EU.

No, those are basically 3 big dumpsters.

We get told that all our suggestions and feedback get reviewed and then sent somewhere, but we never get any feedback back. So those are just places for people to unload their frustration and whatever they have on their minds.

In general, there is zero communication between players and WG here, except for some rare cases when stuff really hits the fan and an update introduces some severe bugs. Then you'll see a tiny bit care.

Right now we don't even have an active community manager here, or even real mods...

No. They just wipe them from time to time.

Mods monitor the forum but that's about it.

Just what i thought, mods seem to get really triggered when there is a genuinely good discussion about something that goes against WG.

"Non constructive content"

This is my experience from these forums, in a nutshell.

Sorry but i don't share that view with you, nobody gets triggered over anything. Posts or topics get reported by players like you and me and then the moderators act upon these reports. People say mostly negative stuff about WG, WG staff and Russians in general. None of that gets edited or moderated unless it's in violation of the forum rules. Venting your frustration is allowed, criticism is definitely allowed but plain insults against others and using offensive language are not!

There is plenty of things that got into the game that was in the suggestion thread. Also they say they are aware of the spg hate, so it seems they do peruse those threads, but there is no way of knowing that for sure.

If WG listened to fifty different forumites they'd probably get fifty different opinions.

No they don't. I mean look at the threads about MM and Arty pinned at the top of the forum. Thousands have said how crap MM and SPGs are and it took WG a couple years to come up with something for those issues. And they didn't fix the problem with SPG. They just made a tiny bit less annoying. That's all. So it's obvious they follow their own agenda and they don't care about what we say.

Clearly, the mods feedback to the devs.  There are two issues, however.  First is,signal to noise.  So many forum posts are rants, whines and trolls that genuine concerns and suggestions get lost in the hubbub.  Next is the ratio of Russian players to European players.  Clearly, devs are going to pay more attention to the larger, native language speaking forum. Which is obviously going to lead to a bias.

Additionally, I believe that the game developers have a "We know better than you" mentality when it comes to the player base.  Their first concern is money, followed by whatever feature, enhancement or fix they consider most important.  Then they consider what the forums are saying.

That should be no issue for active mods or devs, especially since the noise often IS the signal. A signal that is signaling since years.
