Hello guys,

this is a question especially for bad and average players. Why dont you like to get free T8 Premiums like the STA, WZ, Emil 1951 and the unknown T9 Premium tank you can win in frontline? Free gold, Credits, bonds, directives etc?

Please explain me why u go for the last targets /turrets and end the game when there is plenty of time to play and several points to cap? You dont get much XP or Credits or rank XP for destroying and damaging the turrets in the end, why you still rush them like crazy? Is there a secret only bad players can see?

We are in the 4th or 5th frontline mode week and you still dont understand how this game mode works to get to the juicy rewards? Its all about ranking up to General. Cap and decap and play well, but never ever go for the turrets and end the game after 5mins only cause u can. Stop that. This game mode is not about winning, there are no stats, you only shoot yourself in the foot when u destroy the turrets in the end. Why u make the grind  for everyone else inc. yourself harder?

Ranking up and go Prestige is the goal, in the end you can trade your prestige points for free premium tanks or gold and bonds. And you get alot of free stuff too getting in the higher prestige ranks. So stop shooting the turrets and make life easier for everyone.

I'm currently on 1 prestige and level 5 of the 2nd.  You figure it out.

I never played FL. Whenever this game tries to make me feel like I "have to" play for something whether it's some kind of marathon or just making use of some free premium time I got from an event, I completely lose all will and motivation to play. The better question would be "why do you keep reinstalling" and I honestly don't know the answer at this point.

Because unlike you, I play to win.

Sorry, couldn't resist

STA-2: currently rubbish, not much different with proposes changes.

WZ-111: fairly rubbish as well.

EMIL 1951: worse EMIL 1 and not exactly great either.

Tier 9: nobody knows what it is so it might be a useless tank as well.

So the main targets of the while frontline thing this year are rather substandard.

There are lots of people who can't afford to buy these tanks. Not everyone makes 3000+ Euros a month. I have only bought M4A1 rev, and have earned EBR 75, Progetto, TS-5, Caernarvon AX, Su 130 pm through marathons. So for me adding two more tanks to my premium collection, even though they may be not great still sounds good.

Because this game is basically populated by whining kids, or at least complaining about the wrong things.

If they do not know how to play a mode they can only complain about this or that, I find the FL mode fun and always different from game to game and I must say that both in defense and in attack I always play well and thanks to this mode I dusted off obsolete vehicles for random battles like AMX CDC , Chimera and others.

Playing to win all the FL prizes is great for me, I will have the Emil 1951 during the next FL event and the tier 9 when I have the remaining coins to buy it.

Having 2 premium tanks for free, tons of consumables, bonds, gold and credits is a great incentive to keep me active on wot, since lately I find the random battles boring to death and predictable.

I fully share your vision on the senseless destruction of the turrets in too short a time, the players do not understand on average how much 2 + 2 does to imagine if they understand that since there are no statistics, the only important thing is to do as many XP as possible in the time available in the game. Destroy final objectives in the last 4-5 minutes of play.

There have been standard, encounter and assault battles in WoT for ages, the majority haven't figured out how to play those yet so it's not surprising that the majority have no clue what to do in FL.

It's a prisoner's dilemma with 30 people. You have no idea what the others are thinking, so you can choose not to hit the objectives, depriving yourself of damage, which in every situation is credits/xp, and hope the others are sensible enough to not hit the objectives either. If you don't trust them to do that, you're better off hitting the objectives yourself.

The damage to objectives multiplier is probably worse than just attacking other players. You don't have to "deprive" yourself of damage, just focus that damage on other players especially ones that are near the cap circles. Let's hope for season 2 of FL, WG can make this mode more sensible and winning can actually be worth it.

Totally agree. You certainly seem to get more XP this month than previous episodes for damage to objectives, but it's still better for your rank to shoot an enemy tank.

STA-2 I could buy for a lot less hours work than grinding FL will take.

WZ-111 I have already.

They are all beyond anything I have time for even if I milk battles for all they have.

So if you don't mind I'll play for fun, and fun is trying to win, not trying to drag it out as long as possible.

If winning doesn't give rewards then it needs changing.

Also why would you ever pick the Defender in Frontlines? Its slow and has a bad gun...

Still I agree with you entirely.... These people rushing to kill the turrets, while not even being Captain seem to be not really aware of the actual goal of the mode....

But winning means achieve a higher rank.

Even a moron should draw this conclusion.

Well, I tried frontline and I fail playing it well.

The matches take either too long (as in time consumed) or are finished too soon (for me to get a reasonable high rank in the match).

I don't have the correct tanks (meta) unlocked/bought to make a difference (seems autoloaders are king, but it showed me my t69 really is a relic from a distant past that cannot handle the current game standards)

Also my credit gain didnt seem that high.

Last but not least, it felt like a hell of a grind to get to 'level' 30 in a week.

Al in all, few games where quite nice. But after the 'pressure' of the grind kicked in it lost its spark and I rather played randoms. No free premiums for me.
