The dpm is awful, the tank moves slowly, the view range is low and the aim time is quite long. This tank needs a little buff to something, really

Well this tank is average even in nowadays wot. And price is quite high. In general it is second line supporter/td. And often cant do even this role. Mobility is average, gun handling is average, armor is bad, no gun dep, rof is horrible. I see only one good thing about this tank - 390 alpha but it is often hard to use it. Replaced optics to ventilation and it felt a bit better. In general if you need a russian t8 prem medium better save a bit money and buy t44-100 it is worth every cent or even go for t54 pro is better and way cheaper.

I like this tank. A high alpha med is always fun. It does however have to many disadvantages to be considered good tho. It badly needs a DPM / gun handling buff and some more mobility to be able to get in to positions to use the high alpha + paper armor combo.

So while it is fun I would not recommend anyone to buy it in its current state.

Tank looks nice, but is expensive and there is a non-skinned version available in-game for gold rather than paying extra cash.

 

Also, when I click on standard it takes me to Best Buy and vice versa.

WG tends to sell appealing items with many useless stuff to rise the price up and maximise profit,..., which of course is understandable,..but what I wish is that the appealing stuff would prevail in that bundles which is ussualy not the case,...and that i think is bad for sales numbers,...

I want it for frontline where still projetto is the king and also i have T44 but T44-100 as premium would be cheap to fight.

You got alot, mostly bad reviews of this tank,....

 

Since I dont have it, and am looking to buy 1 soviet MT tier8, I will surely pass this offer and look for T44 or T54 instead,...specially cos STG  its already in techtree and ppl who thought of buying already bought it with discount,....

 

The thing is, that more you play this game, more obvious become,  that 1 tank  tier8 for each nation for each type  is more than enough,..and thus people seek the best tank to fit that role. So here is the catch why STG is not selling, not because its too expensive or bundled or whatever, its just that T44 or T54 are better,...so why waste time on playing worse tank while you can play better one?

Here we come again to rebalancing tne tanks,....you have 6 OR 7 parameters and basicaly each tank should be better at some characteristic and the other one at others,...BUT since that is not the case ppl just tend to buy the best overall tank,...please see polar chart, this is just an example,...figures might be different but You get the point why ppl ask for T44-100,.....

 

 

And while we are at it, each nation/type should have comparison charts made like this, so ppl can decide what they want, gun, mobility etc,.....so rebalance first and make more diversity and ppl will buy different tanks, SIMPLE

Medium tank with heavy tank gun,

Some like  it for that some do not its good to have a choice.

I generally do not like rear turreted tanks but I bought it anyway for the challenge.

Hello there,

 

Unfortunately, no! The reason is; STG and STG Guard are separate vehicles. Back then for some vehicles, we provided the option to swap because for those who bought the tank, where the second variant was not available at all. Currently, both STG Guard and STG are available just not at the same time.
