Hi, I'll start saying I'm not colorblind. For two or three matches I enabled it to see how it was, but I immediately felt eye ache. I've always played with standard mode.

What does it change? Are there any reasons why i got eye pain?

Sounds more like the issue I run into once a while with the game, where the graphics just seems out of synchronization. Only solution I've had to it so far is to shut the game down and start it up again and hope for the best.

Works more often than not.

Don't think so. I believe that he (and some other streamers) have it enabled for their audiences' sake. For the more inclusive experience.

I've used it for years in conjunction with a mod that turns the enemy team from red to purple instead of blue.  I'm also not colour blind, but just think it looks nicer.  AFAIK it doesn't change anything else & nothing that should cause problems with eye strain.

If it's causing you problems I'd suggest not using it, especially as you don't need it.

I am not color blind, on contrary being a designer my eyes are color trained let's put it that way. I am saying this cause I would use purple instead of red, cause it is less explicit, but I have noticed sometimes it is harder to spot both the OTM markers as well the contours when they are purple, mainly when you have foliage and bushes ahead that are darker green.

What I would suggest tho is to check the graphical color settings and make colors less vivid and reduce the brightness cause that would ease it for your eyes. Also, if you play over night be sure to have some light behind your monitor, on the wall for instance. Generally, making your screen light as the background helps a lot.

I am not colorblind but use colormblind mode as well, just find it less obnoxious then the red color. The mode doesnt do anything else.

Green and red are complementary colors and green is present a lot in the game. When put next to each other they create the clearest contrast. On the other hand when you fade them out or mix they lose hue lowering the contrast which probably makes colorblind persons seeing purple better than red, but colourblindnes affect problems with different colours for different people.

Masturbation? Other than that you should heed warnings about things that are not meant for you, like those that say 'do not jump off bridge', and etc.
