So as you probably know there's a +15% to xp and credits for tooning and so what I was doing was just playing randoms grinding credits yesterday and tooning with some guys from whatever team I was with for grinding extra credits why not right?Thing is though, I was running credit and xp buffs so I'm not sure I noticed this extra income for tooning and wondering if it doesn't apply this way since I checked out the "i" info button on the top right hand corner of the platoon and it said something like "does not apply to dynamic platoon" so what I want to know is

1. What's a dynamic platoon

2. Was I getting this +15% bonus for tooning with teammates during random battles or does it only apply to toons formed pre-battle?

3. Why do so many players have toon option removed when you scroll over their name looking to toon during a battle? Is it annoying or REALLY annoying? Can't say it bothers me when a players looks to toon with me but maybe it's annoying for some.?

1. dynamic platoons are those formed during a battle.

2. I don't play anymore, but it sounds like you only get the bonus for the pre-formed platoons

3.  Dunno, seems silly doesn't it.  Just think of all the lovely badges they're missing out on because of it.

1 afaik it's platoons created during battles
2 see 1
3 Players desactivate invitations during battles cause you get too many spams at start of battles. When it's pure non sense to invite.

Hi Tungsten,

A dynamic platoon is when you form a platoon during the battle and not before.  A dynamic platoon does not give you the 15 % bonus.. this only counts we you have formed one pre-battle.. however a dynamic platoon does work to complete certain missions on the personal campaigns or do get medals like BiA or Crucial contribution.

I always leave the option open for the latter two possibilities.

I've always thought the dynamic platoon was one created in game and no I don't think you get the bonuses, but I could be wrong.

I've seen the platoon block too, I usually ask for a platoon  to get a BIA award .

I don't understand accept no requests myself as I just ignore if I don't fancy tooning.

3) I ignore in game platoon request as I see no point in them. Mostly platoon-inviters just want free medals or whatever, or they want somebody to do their PMs for them. (Also, players expect you to do stupid sh*t just because you're in a platoon with them)

^ that

I disabled it after a game like that too.. we were winning, had a few kills etc.. and because im not interested in how many BIA medals I have I didn't bother to accept some randoms platoon invite. I carried on trying to win the game and the guy killed me and we lost it..

never had it on afterwards as its just not worth it

You guys got shot for not platooning?? Ahahaha! "toon or die!" I don't mind tooning requests tbh, certainly not at gun point!! but... just for a bit of fun with other guys on 3 kills or when someone needs help with PM. God knows, I certainly needed help with my PM in the past and I'm grateful for those that helped me so I like helping those when I can. I might be salty and have a big mouth and an itchy trigger finger with teammates at times but if I can help I will and I've turned down kills in the past when another teammate asked me for that last kill for a Top G or something, so long as it doesn't risk the win or prevent me from achieving my own goals or PM then I'm cool with it. Really interesting insight into why you guys have tooning disabled though! :)

Well thanks for clearing up the dynamic platoon thing and the other questions too. At least now I'll not bother looking for toons every single battle since there was no reward for it in terms of that +15%. Strange you guys found grief from toonmates though, if anything, I only ever found tooning as a way to keep the piece. If I'm tooned with someone, I've never ended up in a tiff with them and only more tolerance has been shown towards each other, no pushing or blocking or any of that sort of shenanigans plus I found it a cure for being shot by arty teammates. Try it yourselves next time, I have never once been shot by an arty I am tooned with, they know they can avoid shooting teammates but some just don't give a flying fork since they don't get punished the way other tanks do so if you're tooned, they don't do it to you plus when I ask for help, I get it. Nice having a clicker to call on when there's 2 or 3 tanks pinning you down.

I don't have them turned of, but most of the time I don't accept them. I don't like random invites, but the only reason I will accept it for, is both getting BIA medal. Usually I get invites from very bad players and I don't like to play with them. I'm not gonna create a disadvantage already before I pop into a battle.

I guess I've been lucky - never had a team wounding for not accepting an invite.

Have I just jixed myself?

I've actually played a long time with it activated, besides the spam in the start of the games, it was nice from time to time to get some brother in arms medals whn solo queuing. But getting shot for it once was enough to make my decision.

I keep it on as I think there are certain missions that require you to be in a platoon so it can help people out, also for the chance to bget a bond for BIA medal. (all fom memory maybe wrong!)

I miss being able to take mixed +1-1 tier tanks in a platoon that was a nice function.
