he exposes himself as he literally has it in his twitch description, saw it awhile ago.

He also used to use the illegal mod that shows where everyone is aiming on the minimap but as far as i can tell stopped

Dont get how someone can be that stupid to stream with this stuff and im surprised no one caught on sooner.

But that mod was legal according to WG until recently...

He removed the gun direction mod immediately after this article came out. As for the boosting services, yes that's the way he makes his living.

To be fair i completely forgot about them making it illegal only recently so fair enough with that.

With the last part, You could say people who break into houses and steal things to sell are only making a living. And while im not trying to compare this on a game to crime IRL. All im saying is that its still breaking the rules and is Illegal in WoT, and shouldn't be forgotten and be allowed just because its how someone 'makes a  living'

Streamers are people who should aim to make an impression, and be an example/role model in a way, If people see him clearly getting away with blatantly breaking the rules, what stops them from trying to do it to 'make a living'? or make some quick money?

I didn't say doing this for a living is right or wrong, only stated a simple fact. Personally i don't have an opinion on the matter.

'Impressions', 'examples' and 'role models' are relative and subject to personal preferences, cultural values, moral code, etc. They aren't binary or set in stone, that's why when it comes down to a specific functions or acts we set rules, regulations or guidelines.

Sometimes even setting the wrong example could help achieve your goals like drinking excessively on stream, cursing or even using bad music. You start with a goal and a target audience, any ideals, beliefs or principles are liable to be forgotten or completely dropped along the way to that target.

Again stating facts not my personal opinion. In the end it tells a lot about the the person doing that and his audience. One could easily emerge as a star while another as a pariah despite following the same code! :)

In all honesty things happen, however advertising it like that and risking other players accounts isn't the smartest thing you could do.

I mean after all there's no better proof than the guy himself telling you: http://prntscr.com/nu1f0w.

My biggest complaint so far is that it's darn expensive. You could just buy gold and premium time and get it in a couple hours.

The screenshot shows someone, presumably you, asking him about the price for 15mil credits (?) and 3 marks. Which tank were you asking about?

Since a tier VIII premium is required for the offer I asked him if he could do it for my t92 American light tank hence I have no other tier VIII premium available.

Just about as well as your English classes.

There's still time left for you to move to Russia, get employed at WarGaming, become the CEO and ban a certain forum font.

Though thanks for the views and support. ;)

What is wrong with account sharing? Streamers and players in general have done it for years.

That mod was legal for some time, unless I'm mistaken. He continued to use it after it was made illegal?

Generally the fact that it is against the rules and both or all involved accounts can get a permanent ban as a result. The fact that you run the risk of getting your account torn to shreds by somebody with malicious intent who can spend all your gold and credits, sell your most expensive tanks if not all of them or even cheat and get you intentionally permanently banned. The fact that if your credit card is saved on file they can just buy a lot of stuff and if you try to charge-back for whatever reason (food, bills, the fact that you didn't want 2 billion gold) will get your account banned until you successfully pay the amount that was originally spent.

The list goes on and on... not mentioning the fact that you're more prone to fall for tricks if you do it. Since it's not allowed and there's no approved websites for it anybody can phish for accounts to damage.

Long story short: If it's not allowed, don't do it, if you do it, it's at your own risk.

Also that's not just account sharing they're also getting heroic medals and marks on their tanks without learning the game.

If you are dumb enough to give your account details (or any details for that matter) to someone you don't trust, and it turns around to bite you in the [redacted], then stupidity will reward you rightly. ^^

You have to pay first btw. :)

And the price is higher than what you would get for converting gold for credits.

50E = approx 25,000 gold which is roughly 10,000,000 credits.

100E would be 20,000,000 credits.

He's asking for 90E to grind 15 mil... you must have premium, you must have a tier VIII premium tank.

Also, the point, once again is not about trusting or not trusting an user, it's the overall risk you run to get both accounts suspended indefinitely. Although to be fair being a streamer does not mean you have to abide over any moral code.

So yeah...

People pay for that sort of thing? Why am I surprised.

Easier to pay than to try I presume.
