Hi All,

Can anyone advise me on installing WoT under a new disk and OS?

Currently I have all my games and apps on a separate Seagate 1TB HDD with my OS on a dedicated SSD.

After an SSD failure I am installing a new Kingston drive and moving up from Windows 7 to Windows 10 at the same time.

Can anyone advise if I will be able to "install" WoT from the existing directory on the HDD so I can avoid having to re-download everything.

I don't want to have any issues with Windows 10 not recognising the game or whatever, and I'm not sure if the executables will just run under the new OS.

Any advice appreciated, as currently I'm thinking it's just better to do a fully clean reinstall.

Thanks a lot.

Jock

Personally I would do a full reinstall just to avoid any potential issues, but it's possible to just install the old launcher or the WGC and have it check the files for you.

Note: You most likely need to "import" your WoT install to WGC first if you're using that.

Thanks for the links, very helpful.

I kind of agree, a full re-install would ensure all the Win10 registries are in order and avoid any Win7 files being left over.

Cheers.
