To those players considering this tank, the advertising of "Put its improved skin, speed and DPM to the test" is very misleading. It has improved armor over the base T-34 but it's still no heavy tank. Meanwhile the mobility is a bit worse due to that extra weight, and the DPM is actually 33% lower than the T-34 with the 57mm gun. It is higher DPM than the T-34 with the 76mm but that's not a great point of comparison.

 

It's by no means a bad tank, but be aware of what they mean with the advertising before buying.

It was reward for a long campaign, sold then, must not be put on sales...maybe in black market only

It also has APCR as both standard and special ammo. All in all a nice tank, plus it looks cool!

Yes, it's good, that's i don't like to see him on sale

Tried several battles and was a pain. Seem much worse than standard tier 5,  t34.

Had it since the Kursk special last year. It’s a nice little tank.

Its an ok enough tank.

However; WG should run the Kursk special this year as well, just add a different reward if you already have the T-34S. It was a nice little event that might need some fine-tuning. Its not negative to have a yearly event

Got one  thru marathon , never played it , but since i got Pz V/IV this morning  , ill put Panzer to the test in following weeks

Back to T-34 Shielded: T-34/57 has the best DPM AFAIK in tier 5 , coupled with good mobility and accuracy of ZiS-5 gun , its better crew trainer than T-34S , due to sheer fact you will win more with it ( only tank i have 100% gunmarks on it )

I already have the T-34S, do I get extra gold? And if so, how much?

I'm more interested in the 30 day premium but with extra gold it's a nice bundle.

It's a decent tank,none the less. Plus it comes from an event long ago,so those players that missed it can get this tank now.

I was more interested in the camo that was awarded in the final stage. Maybe we get to see those events again in the future ?

What was that final stage camo? I got the first stage camo but for the life of me I can't see what's missing?

Fire Bulge is the final stage camo. The one you got for the T34S is compatible with only T34S,but Fire Bulge can be placed on any vehicle in the game.

Fire Bulge? that sounds rude. Anyway, buldges not withstanding, this is an entirely different camo set? I was under the impression that there was the turret camo and the hull camo, that I was always missing the hull camo, maybe not the case?
