I have tried to play this Ranked Battles , and after more then 200 battles i have reached rank 0 in Qualification ... this means that i am a very bad player , and is no place for me in this game ... Why ? Because i can not help my team just make the game for them stressful and a very bad experience ... So , i decided to take a break and try something else , a game where i can get better then the worst players ...

See ya all later , have a nice day and good hunting on the battlefield .

Just play Randoms lot less hassle but if you have made your mind up hope you find a good alternative to WoT.

I've gone back to randoms and its been a lot more fun.

I was hoping just to qualify for the bonds, but its all too easy after gain a couple of chevrons to drop back to zero again with steamroll teams, if youre  6-15 on a losing team you lose youre chevron.

I found it pretty disappointing, playing randoms can get 5-10 bonds game, at least you dont lose them in a losing match.

What's the significance of ranked to your performance in every other tier and every other game mode?

If you don't like it or don't do well in it, try something else. Something that'll help you enjoy the game, that is the purpose of playing after all. I like numbers a lot, they were my job at some point but i like myself more! :)

Not really. It's just that WG made it tier X battles only. And Ranked is every man for himself more so then as the team. So it's basically randoms with lemmings and redline farming. Then, even if you are good there is only so much you can do.

I would not have needed to play 200 battles to establish this.

True, but there are bonds to be won, that's the only reason I tried ranked.

It appears those who need bonds the less will get them.

And what do you need bonds for exactly?

  • The bond shop that yet to be implemented and will probably have trash tanks that nobody wants.
  • Improved equipment/placebo effect with a twist of lime.

So far the only good use i could find for bonds is buying directives to give 6th sense to a new commander. Other than that it's just hoarding stuff at the expense of your time, credits and nerves!

Why, yes, equipment, it certainly isn't placebo.

The ranked game mode name is misleading, its more of a tournament where you have to beat the top qualifiers just to get 1 chevron.

Why would you waste it on equipment? 2.5 - 5% improvement is worth more than waiting for, lets say 6 months, bonds shop? :amazed:

I dont play Ranked.

No gold ammo and no MODs, makes it for me NOT playable.

Its quite a wake up call playing ranked. I jumped in played 25-30 games and stalled at tier 6, I installed xvm and realised I had reached where I belong in ranked. Im a 54% player, most of the others were better than me so no quibbles there really.

Like many have mentioned I just licked my wounds and ruefully went back to randoms. I would love to see the data on how many 50% - 55% players play ranked ( thinking they would excel ) and then just stop playing wot, as they realise they are out of thier depth and the realisation that this portion of the endgame content isnt for them.

It certainly got me thinking about other games rather than wot, its nearly the polar opposite of the random experience where you can basically be a red bot and get to t10 and play innocently unaware of how crap u are doing. The "chevron" concept as we can see by the Ops post brings a whole different psychological element to the game, basically the feeling of failure at varying degrees.
