Weird thing -fired 8 shots got nine hits?

I'm sure there's a logical explanation but in my last game the after match stats show 8 shots fired and nine shots hit with a hit percentage of 112.50%.

 

I presume there must have been a ricochet but as far as I can recall each tank shot at was on its own with nothing else nearby.

Replay could answer it, as it allows detailed analysis, but likely a ricochet was involved. It can happen. Note that ricochet range is pretty far, so a tank hit by a ricochet doesn't have to be nearby.

 

Edit; this gif illustrates how far ricochets can go (made in the old days of WoT, when arty still had AP shells, like the one in the gif did). Also Sand River still had its river back then, before it all dried up.

Yeah, it was probably a ricochet.

Happened to me once or twice as well.

I do have it but really not worth the effort, just thought it might be unusual enough to interest. 99.9% likely to be a ricochet I'm sure.
