But I must ask: why the "top ten"?  Surely it must be those in the bottom five that needs it the most?

I love crew training weekends but is that it? just the X2 per battle? Seems like you should have added the usual crew is crucial style features like missions for crew xp buffs but most importantly, the discounts on crew retraining and role change. Don't forget that the discounts actually generates money, I don't proof of that but no doubt there are plenty of players like me that have tanks and new tanks on standby to transfer crews into along with retraining others and role changing, all of which I do for gold, just typically not at full price where possible. Don't forget, there is a new top of the tree starting too so will be plenty of Russian TDs bought and crew looking to be transferred. Just food for thought and btw the extra bonus of having the D-day missions boost to crew and xp hasn't washed over me, that's nice and going to give the crew an extra boost.

22-24 June is the Crew is Crucial special. Basically we have a double crew special this month.

Just drove my Dicker Max in a tier 8 battle, we won, and I was placed 7th at base xp earned.

Still, no double XP earrned?

It's  x2 Crew XP not combat xp.
